All been a bit serious this morning, and rightly so. But lets throw a bit of conspiracy in to lighten the mood.

Allways find it interesting seeing the site stats and seeing just how far ranging this Forum is read. Over the last month, the forum has been accessed from 107 countries around the world. from El Savador in the West to South Korea in the East, to Sudan in Africa.

Traditionally outside of the UK, the most popular viewing countries are Canada, Australia and France, all three with a decent wedge of ex-pats. In recent months though, we've seen a big rise in traffic from the good ol US of A. Over the last month, its seen a 39% rise in new visitors.

47 regions of the US have visited the forum in the last month, with visitors from New York, Illinois, California, Massachusetts, District of Columbia, Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Conneticut and Pensylvania all accessing the site over 50 times in the last month.

California has clearly emerged as the most visited US area. Within that region, the site has been visited from 49 cities in the last month. The key area clearly being San Jose, followed by San Fran and Los Angeles.

So if that is not a clear indication that the new interested consortium are the people behind the Progress Sports Management group who last year sold a 30% stake in the San Jose Giants to the San Fran Giants, then i don't know what is !

    the two most repeated areas of visitors in Illinois are Chicago and Peoria, though we've had occassional visits from 10 other Illinois towns / cities in the last month, including Springfield (which always makes me chuckle) !
