Having realised that we're in with a chance but that we need to rebuild Fortress Valley, I'm looking for some positive ideas as to what could be put on a display banner. The West stand looks a bit bare.
Barmy Flags is a good place to search. They do most of the flags you see at Man Ure games etc.
There is a pretty cool tool which lets you mock up your flag first. Have done it a few times but have never convinced the wife that it was a good investment!

I've used them they were good. We got a Union flag with CHARLTON written across the middle and 1905 in the bottom right hand corner in a size 5ft by 10ft for £90, the quality is good though.
It went to a few games last season but I don't think it's been used at all this year. Might bring it to Southend though.
You could have great big velcro squares sewn on for the goals count and a longer horizontal one for the away team. Someone will need to be responsible for bringing big velcro backed numbers and letters.
Lots of good ideas, love the AFKA one! Keep your eyes peeled!
This is also rather good, especially as I sit mid Lower West next to the directors box with a whopping great rail in front of us. Could have a bit of mischief with it as well!

You need 90 banners and to change them every sixty seconds.
As follows:
First one of Nelson's Column
Second one a little duck
Third a cup of tea
Fourth a bloke knocking on a door
Fifth a carton of Five Alive
Sixth a set of chopsticks
Seventh a pic of Sir Clive scoring at Wembley with a halo over his head
Eight a pic of Anne Widdecombe

I didn't realise this was to be put up in front of me! In that case I will have to veto any suggestions too

Cheap alternative to the now defunct scoreboard.

With an arrow pointing to the bloke next to me (RedarmySE7).
with a giant arrow in the direction we are shooting.
