Reassuring to see that even sporty heroes who obviously run around a lot and keep fit can't avoid that inevitable middle-aged thickening. But having said that he still motoredm around well and still has a eye and the foot for a quick simple telling short forward pass. I wish our central midfielders could catch the habit from him.
Good to see a fair number of young kids sporting Seaford Town colours rather than the ubiqitous Chelsea/Man Yoo kits.
A few BH Albions supporters there largeing it in a jolly fashion.
Enjoyed that tonight. Got wet in the first half but stopped in time for the second.
Was against a team in what is really the 10th tier, we controlled most of the game and Seaford rarely threatened.
Gough - can't be judged, barely had anything to do. Made one decent save from what I remember
Jenkinson - like when I've seen him before, he is comfortable on the ball and likes to dribble out of defence when there is space to do it, bit like Richardson did, rather than look for pass soon as he gets it
Mambo - not a lot to do, easily won his headers as usual. Tried to pass the ball out rather than hoof it
Llera - scored one from a corner and his second was low free kick. Tried longer passes than other players and they weren't great. Like Mambo never really troubled
Carter - don't see anything that stands out either way in his game.
Harriott - only first year u18 that started. Left footed but played on the right. Had his moments but room for improvement, only 16 so plenty of time. Would like to see how he plays on the left
McCormack - was captain, did well enough, set up Tuna with a through ball. Few ambitious passes like Llera that weren't great
Davisson - right footed but we always play him on the left. Keeps possession, can turn, pretty decent on the ball. Not sure if he'll break through but you could see what they like about him. Scored a good goal from outside the box. Drifted centrally at times. Shame Bromley only gave him a couple of sub apps
Tuna - scored after rounding the keeper and hit the bar. Tries to help the team keep the ball. Few times he lost it and didn't try and get it back straight away like other players do. Could have been because it was 'only Seaford' but has been said in the past he lacks a bit of aggression
Popo - tapped in after Harriott's shot was saved. Offered similar things to Tuna, control the ball and pass it on to keep the move going. Hit the top of the post from a fairly tight angle.
Morris and Kinsella both came on and just kept it simple. Azeez also came on up front for a bit, no time to judge. Bigger and bit more physical than Popo and Tuna.
Not sure if Seaford played a team in each half or not, they wore a different kit in each half. Kinsella asked a few of us watching but no one could tell.
Along with Kinsella, Woodman, Umut (the physio) and Matthew were there. Didn't see Parky or Breacker. Kinsella was doing all the shouting from the dugout, encourging players, telling them when to close down, get wider etc.
Was busy, so a good night for Seaford, they should have made a bit of money out of that.

Matthew out ;-)

Parky out, Matthew in! :-)
Yeah Kinsella came on. He was doing all the encouraging on when to close down, positioning etc. Several u18s on the bench but comes on himself!
