IF YOU DON'T LIKE WATCHING CHARLTON DON'T F**KING WATCH CHARLTON.
This will achieve f**k all other than to make us look more worse off than we actually are.
Maybe we could all stand in the car park and sing "sack the board", just like those really passionate fans in geordieland seem to do every couple of years.
Of course, we wouldn't let the little things concern us - like who exactly we were singing at to sack the board, who could actually sack the board anyway or - if the board were sacked - just who was going to take over and write the cheques come Monday.
Nick Gray really is the biggest muppet in the history of muppets. Giving him a platform on here (I believe he's already been banned once?) is stupid. Don't feed the troll.
"By 7pm Pardew was gone." Yes, you clown and we got Parkinson. We haven't got the money to move Parky on and expect to get much better. However frustrated we might feel after yesterday, you don't sack your manager when you are eight in October.
Can't we just saddle all the debts on Nick Gray? Then maybe we could work out a millenia Sysphian re-payment package. Hopefully he'll have to roll a pair of King Kong size balls up Shooter's hill so we can see his debtor's penance.
I'll say something simple. What an absolute nob Nick Gray is. The time to do something was when Parky was first employed as manager, now as time has gone on there's only a few who could do better and we can't afford them. Besides, one we couldn't afford is now at Soton.
This is not the solution, our club really needs its hardcore support now not some tame protest when we clearly don't have a pot to piss in. I'm not happy with the manager but I understand the difficulties the board has with limited funds and resources. I'd say yes if we had owners who could survive losing few million quid but no, this is not an appropriate time. I'd prefer Parkinson be a man and walk.
[cite]Posted By: ValleyGary[/cite]he 'd only fail to turn up anyway
100% agree with this - his recollection of events differs to mine - I went to the car park for a "protest" after a game (not sure it was the game he refers to) and it was only me and my family there!
After reading that I get the impression he will be disapointed if we win the Brighton match, after all that hard work to organise a protest.
I think we are in a bit of a rut with the Parky situation, personally I think after numerous sales and purchases there is no evidence of moving forward. As iv always said i think the players are more than good enough (Francis being the exception) to get promoted, I just think they need the right person to manage them.
Until Parky decides the time is right to walk away or Murray makes the decision then weve just gotta get behind the boys every week and hope to get some points on the board however we do it
Yelling in a car park is not going to change bugger all!
No one is going to claim that things are great at present!, but as CafcAndy claims get behind the lads, Yes I know it is not easy, and it hurts. Wether Parky is the man to lead Charlton does remain to be seen, but at this stage, in this league he has to have time.
Come end of Novemnber then the chairman has to make some big decisions.
Do not see too many West Ham fans wanting to change there manager and they are bottom of the prem at present!
We are where we are, roll up your sleeves and get on with it!, players and fans alike.( and management)
Does Nick Gray, or Vol au Vont, as I think he likes to be known as, think he and a couple of hundred brought down Pardew??? Do me a favour! He is on the OS and 606 and spouts nothing than get rid of Murray and board, get rid of Parky etc etc. We have club berefit of money that has only now been kept going by Murray and those directors who gave up the money they invested so we could survive going forward. I've kept my silence over the last year reading his posts, but for god sake Nick, unless you have the money to buy the club, or know someone/people who have...then do us all a favour and shut up!! Moaning all the time is not helpful....what do you expect Murray and co to do...."ohhh NG is moaning time to get out!!" course not.....they support and keep the club going as much as they can - yes they and parky have made mistakes but for gods sake give it a rest. I've supported the club since 1960, we've been through bad times and good.....iv'e stood on terraces at chesterfield, ipswich, gillingham many years ago in the pouring stuffing rain and watched the team lose and play crap, but i've always supported them....no matter what. We've nearly gone out of business, lost the valley and thanks to those who have supported us with investment we have come back....and we will again....maybe not this season (but maybe we will)....but we will (and no I dont wear rose coloured glasses...cant afford them!!)....but with supporters like you....we dont stand a f'ing chance.
I'm normally a peaceful person but this guy f's me off. Sorry.
(Nick, if you read this, I'm not part of any clique on here........I dont know anyone, I'm just a 55 year old supporter, whos racked off.................................with you!!!!!!!)
One question, if we win against Brighton.........is the protest off..........or do we need to win handsomely?
I know one thing. There a few views on this site currently that really make me wonder why people are "supporters". We are 8th....it is the beginning of Oct....there have been wholesale changes.....let it all bed in and see where we are in 2011 that when PP will be judged. Look at Leicester 7 Managers in 3 years.......
Guys the worlds gone mad... and supporting doesnt mean supporting a football team any more, it means cheering when winning and booing when losing..
Birmingham lost there year long not defeated record at St Andrews and the crowd roled out the boos becasue they got beaten soundly by a desperate everton 2-0...
the days of supporting your club are over and the days of pantomime support are here to stay... no stiff upper lip just tears and tnatrums as soon as it doesnt happen the way we want it to...
As for protests ... the blokes a dick obviously.. and again, what will it achieve, apart from the participants fluttering their ego, absolutely nothing...
We are peniless, with RM pumping everything he has into a dying club, we need some luck, but we are not going to get it... the competition is rife at what ever league level we are in, we dont have a right to beat anyone and we have,IMHO, put the best possible squad we could have done considering the financial constraints(Bar Benson who the jury is still out on)
We are a mid table outfit, it might get better, it might get worse...

Please don't give that twat any exposure here.

As I said, it's a really great idea.

It never actually achieved anything but I always felt a lot better for it, what does Dicky drive these days...?
In the meantime I reckon a few choruses of 'You're not fit to wear the shirt' might come in handy if things get any worser...

Home form is going to be pivotal come May
So for now shut up Mr Gray and support the team.i

Palace and Millwall would have a great laugh at us.
Who cares what those muppets think?
