[cite]Posted By: Ormiston Addick[/cite]I can't see Cuddly Ken agreeing to pay 500,000 for a 37 year-old.....
I can't see cuddly Murray turning that down...
If the player wants to stay he'd have little choice.
I would be amazed if this were true but if it were then Dailly would probably have agreed to the move simply because he knows that 500,000 would be invaluable for the club in its current circumstances.
Plus, of course, Dailly would get a nice little signing-on fee which would be a nice little boost for his retirement earnings.
He may have thought of it long term, with him in the team we have a much better chance of promotion, with him not in the team he may have figured we'd be handing around in this league for a while, more realisticly he may have plans to do coaching with us when he retires.
unlikely to be true but I'm sure it's been mentioned by the club (Dailly or Parky) that Dailly orginally chose us because he wants to play. Not to bothered about the wage at this stage in his career.
[cite]Posted By: News Shopper[/cite]Can only ask and it can't be that old if Swisdom only posted it here two days ago and said the offer was only made a couple of weeks back.
well it couldn't have been made after 31st August.

Good on him for staying and glad he has. Would we have sold him if he agreed then?
Dailly is established in the South and genuinely seems to like it at Charlton , I can see him as a future Coach / Manager.
As said - really glad he stayed and hope he becomes part of the furniture around here
Still love him for this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0U_0wZxyMA&feature=related
