Not just currently active players caught up in this: "Reading's head of football operations Mark Bowen has been charged by the Football Association over alleged breaches of betting rules."
  • Cricketer Brydon Carse has been given a 3 month ban for betting, so it's not just football that has a gambling culture, despite betting on their own sport being banned
  • Greed, in certain circumstances, can be a terrible thing.
When you have more money than you can spend, or in other words not have to work again, I cannot understand why people put themselves in situations where they can find themselves in serious trouble.
