Popo seems to be scoring plenty for ressies and youths, also sure he got a couple in pre season. Doubt he is ready for first team at any level but intrigued to see his progress. One for the future perhaps.
2 ways to look at it, either we didn't name them in fear of clubs poaching them, or we didn't name them in fear of other clubs falling about laughing their heads off
[cite]Posted By: falconwood_1[/cite]Two more for the club to coach their ability out of.
Who else have we coached the ability out of in the last year and a half or so since Parky took over permanently?
Well Benson, Abbott & McLeod came to us as proven goalscorers, Francis as useful going forward, Llera and Hudson solid centre-halves highly rated by their clubs, Jonjo our most promising youngster since Parker, Dailly someone who could organise a defence.

Early to say we've turned Benson and Abbott into worse players isn't it? They're players who need good service and haven't got much so far. Proven goalscorer doesn't mean they finish 90% of chances and create chances on their own.
Francis again a bit early but he's a League One player like Llera is. They made mistakes at their previous clubs like they do here. We've not made them any worse. Even heard decision making was something Francis needed to improve on at Southend.
Hudson was ok but probably exposed by the weak and unbalanced midfield and poor strikers ahead of him. Last I saw Cardiff fans weren't saying he was that great for them anyway.
McLeod was never worth what we paid for him. Don't think he could handle it mentally which is a huge problem when he wasn't that talented either. Has also had problems in his loan spells with other managers.
Shelvey we just stopped playing him. Never looked like we had coached ability out of him.
Not sure why you mentioned Dailly?
Really can't see who we've coached badly to make them into a worse player since Parky was made permanent manager. Not saying the coaching must be perfect.
"Charlton's reserves were in action on Tuesday afternoon, fielding two triallists in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Queens Park Rangers.
Pressed by the media on the identity of the duo in the 3-2 loss, Breacker was keeping his cards close to his chest.
"One of the lads has been here before, the other has come over from Ireland,” said Tim. "It was his first game here and we're just having a look at them. It's not to put them straight into the first team, they're to develop for the future. They did OK against an experienced QPR side.”

Daniels is S***, send him back
Wasn't there. Read the result on twitter but that is all they said.
OS wasting space on Q & As at Bromley Addicks with Parky (7.30 this Thursday) rather than giving us more details. : - )
Now a story on OS

Popo and Warran scored
Good to see Popo keeps scoring, though a lot were "only" penalties.
Trying to keep the news to just the clique. If anyone else finds out who they were we'd never hear the end of it.
Hopefully Harriott will be able to cook up something with Tuna?
I'm assuming therefore that Dunk was not the Left Back.
I have it on good autority though that the trialists were a Brazilian chap called Roberto Carlos and a midfielder called Zidane
Doherty
Is that a joke? He's been pretty solid so far.
