local newspaper coverage

edited September 2010 in General Charlton
Sitting in a pub near London Bridge I notice that the local free rag, the Docklands, only covers the two main local teams, Charlton and hamsters they do cover Millwall but only the Millwall rugby teams under 19 season opener, where they lost 43-0.

Have they fallen out with the spanners or embarrassed by them?

  • Probably embarrassment. I think they target themselves mostly at Canary Wharf workers, and I'm sure the press office used to supply copy to its rival The Wharf at one point.

A version of The Docklands also appears in Greenwich as The Peninsula.
  • Wet sham is further from docks than we are, spanners broken noses must be well put out and no mistakin.
  • im sure there cope

Its mainly because your average windmill fan struggles with reading.
But pictures would be nice for them at least.
