  • I can categorically state that this was nothing to do with me. I have CL witnesses to prove this.
  • Not sure how Forest fans have got involved in this! The Millwall lot had been to Forest!

Fame at last - quoted on Millwall Vital Football.

    haha
  • [quote][cite]Posted By: IA[/cite]And sure enough, this thread was quoted on the Millwall forum when I clicked on EastStand's link. Proper hard men.[/quote]

It was quoted because CL was the only place to find an eye witness account of what happened and was posted on Millwallonline in reply to a thread asking if anyone knew what had occurred in there.

And keep your generalisation of Millwall fans to yourself, (I mean, it's not as though we think you all are train spotters) or I'll set curb_it onto you.

Shouldnt you be drinking stella with your 19 year old mum?
  • [cite]Posted By: Jarman[/cite]Would love to see what those idiots on the millwall forum look like when they arent behind a computer.
    Total geeks no doubt.

The Millwall vital site would appear to be frequented by teenage keyboard warriors who think they're hard because every other word they type is the c word. You won't get much sense on many Millwall sites but House of Fun is a lot better.
  • you can tell that they are about 12 cos they always use them poxy smiley little yellow things. real men dont show emotion.

You should be on the stage with material like that... Well done!

The only time I was in there after a Charlton game was the 3-0 humiliation by Liverpool in our last PL season. I think there might have been a riot if some of our "players" that day had popped in...

Although I don't go there that often, I've never seen any trouble (Copyright A.Wenger), although one of the local bloggers ofter bemons the amount of aggro the pub seems to generate.

I think the site is a bit of a parody, they say things to shock as they know it will pop up on other sites.

  • I was talking to one of the door staff outside the Gypsy Moth later that night and she said 12 of them had already been nicked.

They were fighting right under the CCTV camera's. Just shows the level of intelligence of those involved.
  • "middle class white liberal" yes Henry i think that sums me up. Well known for my middle of the road liberal out look. ta ever so.

As for the Mighty Wall smashing the gaff up in Greenwich well they smashed a hairdressers up in Charlton when neither team had played at the Valley. Maybe they have issues with real ale and hair dryers ?
  • Cant believe that Clem and Romford where in Wetherspoons ... should have gone in Inc :)
  • The weatherspoons in greenwich is the worst pub in greenwich. Why? The beer is to cheap the spirits are to cheap and its open from 7am till 1am. The few times I have been in there you get a nasty feeling and constantly looking around you. It attracts the wino's and trouble elements from deptford and the what's left of the rough estates in greenwich, god knows why you were in there dudes there's so many lovely safe boozers in greenwich, if price was the only reason then next time go to the offey dudes. I have been drinking in greenwich since I was 16 and have never once had any trouble even when we have played milwall west ham chelsea etc. Just avoid that place from now on peeps, I won't be suprised if closes down at somepoint.
  • So who was fighting who?
  • London - a great place to live.

    Oh, sorry. Wrong thread.

[cite]Posted By: Some moron[/cite]How many times will it take them train spotting ***** to understand that when wall come in to a boozer you either buy them a round or get a slap

It's one of the un-written laws.

    Oh you have to laugh.

    Kids these days...
  • I honestly think that there isn't a single 'real' person that posts on them Millwall boards. They are all white collar office workers / nerds or possibly, at a stretch, 13 year old chav kids. Like somebody said, they are a parody of themselves - so ridiculous and socially challenged it's unreal. Tell you what lads, shall we go into a pub in Greenwich and see if we can pull some birds or shall we go in, act up because we're in a mob and stick a bottle in someones head. Sad really but there you go.

Agree, because there is never any violence in any pub or club any where else in the UK.

  • Nice to see Tony Dolby on the Millwall vital site proving exactly my point within half an hour of me posting on here.

Tony i know you're reading this and i'd like you to know you are so right, in fact i often lie awake at night wishing i could be as socially adept and as rich and clever as the average Spanner. I don't know how i've got by in life so far.
  • 'just popping onto the millwall forum darling to pretend to be a hooligan - it's hilarious, they all believe me and we all live in this fantasy world together - what time are we taking Tarquin to choir practise? i'll just log off' - Dave Wall from Bermo.
  • Why read their naffing hoolie board then ? No one likes em----f**king right that is so why have any intrest in what they say AT ANY TIME !

The only good thing about Millwall is they aint Arse-en- hole.

Mid 30s now mate. Only place we can go and perv without fear of being caught!

I seem to recall you frequenting the odd 'spoons establishment in your "heyday". Strutting round the Manchester one with an invisible Cane whilst quaffing "house" red ring any bells?. Converted church in Ayr?.

I'm not talking about their hoolie boards - i'm talking about their normal fans boards - sometimes nice to have a look at other fans opinions isn't it?
  • Thank you AFKA ... my thoughts exactly ... was the Manchester one a spoons?

Surely there wasnt much to perv at in the Greenwich spoons?
  • not millwalls tbh, only time i have a bried(1 minute) look on their site is when someone puts link on here for us to read just makes me laugh cant really take them seriously

The odd (admitedly young) rose amongst thorns!

And yes Manchester was a spoons......early evening before heading to Royales or whatever it was called. Have very funny recollections of the cain in there. Pretty sure you spent the night "strutting" with a cheeky Sammy Davis Jr smile wooing the ladies!
  • [cite]Posted By: Bexley Dan[/cite] i'm talking about their normal fans boards -

    Normal Millwall fans?

Bit of an oxymoron there, surely
