Others may know better but I'd say train from Charlton to Waterloo then another train from Waterloo to Twickenham.
I don't think there is a Twickenham tube station. The nearest tube is probably Richmond which is at the end of a branch of the Distict line (green one).
Years ago when I was going out with this bird from Rochdale, I used to have to watch Oldham with her brother.
"Oop Latics!", was the nearest they got to sing-ging.
Mind you they all had curry sauce on t'chips with mooshy peas!
No one washed up ....but told each other, "your turn to do pots".
