Tell you what

edited August 2010 in General Charlton
I know results at the start of a season are often topsy turvy and it takes a few games to suss form out etc..

BUT Bournemouth stuck 5 (FIVE) past Peterborough, one of the fancied teams in our division today, so last weeks hardfought 1-0 win with 10 men just might be worth a bit more than some of us thought.....

True, but I recall newly relegated Norwich getting 7 goals thumped past them on day one of last season.

And Gillingham stuck 5 (FIVE) past Swindon on the same day.

But we played the same Bournemouth team (confidence and injuries/suspensions-wise) as Peterborough, just the same as we played the same Colchester as Norwich did (and we lost to them). I wouldn't read too much into it, but worth mentioning.
