  • [cite]Posted By: Fanny Fanackapan[/cite]When are we going to sign a Brad Pitt lookalike ?

    I'm rubbish at football, sorry.
  • He is definitely NOT sluggish. He's a big bloke and that makes him appear slower than he actually is. When was the last time we had a centre forward who is capable of physically dominating centre backs. Very pleased with him so far and I have a feeling he is going to become a crowd favourite.
  • I like ColinTat's point comparing Abbott and Gray. Looks no worse, better in fact so far than Gray, stronger and better in the air. One we paid £1.5m for and the other a nominal fee.

Grey was another "big" player that just came and went with f**k all impact except on our bank balance. This team look just that - a team - no star players, and I think we have Parky to thank for that - it's properly his team, and he looks like a man in conrol. stop me, i'm getting carried away.....
  • Was very impressed with him yesterday, his work rate was brilliant and looks very good on the ball.
  • Already love this geezer... Good player and really works the crowd. Quality attitude when he got subbed, well done parky!
  • Abbott also reminds me of Marcus Stewart & I commented on this last week to a mate

Francis looks a bit like Halford bodily not necessarily facially
  • Abbott has the same snub nose as Rafa Nadal.

Will need to take a closer look to see if he has as nice a bottom....;-)

After all, we need a new "Rear of the Year" now that Fraz has gone...
  • *sobs uncontrollably*

He's brilliant, how did we get so little for him and then go and sell an unproven 18 year old to Bolton for 300k.

I love Abbott. Still not over his departure. The sentiments posted in here are the same as what I felt when he played for us.

  • Hello Mr Cartwheel,

Now if Pav had real pace, you'd have sold him to Bolton for £3mill.

Like our legend Clive Mendonca. Now there's a player who had terrific touch, vision and finishing skill - but if only he'd had real pace he could have played for England.

If you see where I'm coming from.
  • Already become a personal joke with mates about how he's god...

I heard he once had a staring contest with a photo. And won.
