Shareholder Discussion

edited August 2010 in General Charlton
Those of us that are shareholders will have received our letter from Stuart Butler-Gaillie. I've read it twice and its not an easy read - but they never are!

Its really not that clear but I assume that by approving to resolution (1) the "sale by the company of the entire share capital held by it in both Charlton Athletic Football Company Limited and Charlton Athletic Holdings Limited to Baton 2010 Limited..." for £2.00 that my shares are now worthless and the certificate is consigned to a picture frame on the wall..!? Anyone else clear/not clear on what happens to their individual shares?

there is discussion on this tacked onto the RM thread, see above
  • OK thanks. I've taken a look and I understand things a bit better. My assumption (as I'm still not 100% clear) is that my investment in my 1000 shares has gone (not that I ever thought I'd see any return) without any thanks for the contribution, see ya later, etc.... I realise the big investors will have written of millions - but how many of us own small numbers of shares that we've not been consulted about or even given a mention?
  • I'm sure it will come out in the wash, but I think you may be right.
