1st day sending offs

Since the start of the 02/03 season we have had 5 sendings off, seems very high compared to any other Saturday during the season.

Konchesky: Chelsea 02/03
Fish: Man City 03/045
Ambrose: Sunderland 05/06
Traore: West Ham 06/07
Semedo: Bournemouth 10/11

    Wasn't there one against Everton at home also...........or was it our first home gfame of the season.

    Don't forget Rufus v Newcastle in our first ever Premiership game in 1998 - be interesting to compare us against other clubs over the past 10/12 yrs as I make it at least 6 or 7 over that time.

    with Traore wasn't that the world cup ref (who's name escapes me believe it or not), first ever premier league game and it was richly deserved as well !! He got stupidly booked for the first one I think for kicking the ball away?? and then wouldn't retreat when asked to bye the ref.. he had to go in my book !!
