Thought this was worth its own thread. Aliwibble wrote the words, I reckon this one's a goer.
"Oh we'll drink a drink a drink
to Robbie the Pink, the Pink, the Pink.
The keeper of the Charlton goal.
Because he'll save all
your shots and your corners
And he'll eat your forwards whole.

So I would avoid any home fan songs which refer to weight or eating.
I like the start though.
If the reference was to pies then you might have a point re weight issues etc but, in my opinion this works just fine as it is.
He's round
He dresses like a clown
Rob Elliott, Rob Elliott
:-)
Its a goer if someone could come up with half decent lyrics.
to Robbie the Pink, the Pink, the Pink.
The keeper of the Charlton goal.
We know that we oughtta
- Coz he's a supporter -
And he loves us heart and soul."
Weegie you've cracked it!
No food references whatsoever so "ev'ry body's 'appy? you bet yer life they are" (an extract from another song for those of a certain age)
Like it....I think we should give this an outing on Friday and see what Sky think of it. :-p
Specially as he's wearing pink and that!
