"I can't think of any other football season that has generated quite so little excitement for Charlton fans"
I can't wait! i'm feeling more optimistic than i was this time last year. I get the feeling from the majority of people on here, that there's is a great deal of excitement.
"The key change at the Valley this season is that there isn't any. We have the same manager, the core of the same squad and the chairman is still in place"
huh? same squad? out of the team that played in the play-offs only 5 are still here.
"We have retained Akpo Sodje who was our best striker last season"
really?
then he goes on about how Tuna deserves a place in the first team because he's got a funny name.
anyone else disagree with most of what he's said?

What a numpty, either he is trying to be funny/sarcastic or is pure stupid. Deon was our best striker last season, Tuna has to prove he deserves a place not because of his name, and as Parky said earlier; '20 players have left us since the Swindon game.' And him saying we've kept the core the same is diabolical.
At least he does get something right in saying this is the most excited we have felt and being more optimistic about a new season for a long time.
