Just back from the Valley after the clean up Day 1. I have to say there was great spirit amongst the fans, young and old...the oldest being an 80 year old lady there with her husband. These people help make the club special
Spoke to a few people for Charlton Live which will hopefully go out on Sundays show, including Colin Powell.
The pitch looked amazing and by the end of the day the whole place was certainly a lot cleaner. 100 people managed to get all the west lower done, virtually the entire covered end, quadrants and even started in the east leaving not much to do tomorrow in comparisson. Dont know if they plan to clean the JSS.
Also big shout out to "Sam Lloyd" for entertaining me with her cleavage for 30 mins and her amusing Valley Express story
Took quite a bit of video/interviews with fans which will be hopefully out on the CHOICE Tv facebook group by the end of the week.
Nice touch by Parky to come down and take the time to chat to the fans at the end before going off to inspect the lush pitch.
Enjoyable day and even got a group of fans to sing VFR in the North Upper

well done to everyone that was there today, fair play to you all.
That's a quality username you've got there, Mr Mendonca.
A bit like Dailly in Tesco's.
Sam's been bragging about her live interview and is really looking forward to hearing it on Sunday. Won't be the last you'll hear of her I'm sure....
Special thanks must go to whoever ends up cleaning East Stand Block C Row Q Seat 164. Nice one.
A bit like Dailly in Tesco's.
Yes thankfully it was an encounter in the Bacon aisle , as opposed to him working at the checkout when he played for us to sub his wages.
Mmm the thought of Bacon butties gets my tastebuds going.
I guess Racon Butties would have been a good name for a user name?
He was walking extremely fast carrying a load of items (he must not know what the use of a basket is for).
I stopped him, patted him on the shoulder and said "Well played today mate"
and he said "Thanks" and looked at me strange and ran off. It was after a game, we had just won. :)
;o)
never mind that, what everyone is really thinking is.....'did choice get pics of the clevage'..;o)
Wouldn't take it personally mate - he was probably more alarmed about being in Asda, as I know that he is usually a Sainsbury's man, having seen him in there with the family a couple of times. His wife is tasty!
Top job...
What happened to him, did he get the bullet too...?
Given our ruthlessness in front of goal [cough, cough] that would account for a lot of recently broken windows in SE7.
Couple of stun greneades, a few thunderflashes and a Lee Enfield 303...
Them fecking pigeons wouldn't know what hit them...
)
Heres a video of you both in action
Sam, that's a quality video they put up there. Those seats and the stuff around them looked very iffy!
Does this guy ever have a good word to say about the club. I know he has been spoken about on here before but he must be a very sad and bitter man.
