Deja Vu - another new keeper......

edited August 2010 in General Charlton
Looks like another new keeper has just arrived in time for Saturday. Due to have his medical tomorrow - anyone any ideas? Think that he will be a 'cheapy' and willing to sit on the bench.

  • Tony Warner?
  • Where did you get that from Paul?
  • Could it be Paul Smith ?
  • He was spot on last time with Marshall.
  • Makes you wonder!

    Someone close to the club
  • Mike Salmon
  • Tuna and Salmon in the same team - could be interesting!
  • Tuna, Salmon and Racoon
  • Tuna and Salmon ...... Sounds fishy to me

  • Would love to have Deano back, but not much chance of that, I guess.
  • Deano is now WBA goalkeeping coach!
  • My guess is Ross Kitteridge or the other Ross - low wages!

    Delicious
  • Tuna and Salmon...?

    Loada codswallop...
  • IMO a new keeper signing needs to be an experienced veteran, who's played at a high level at some point in his career, to help bring Robbie on.

Perhaps someone with aspirations of being a top goalkeeper coach - but still got a playing season in him.

I'd pay 6 squid for the both of them.

    I agree.
  • Just get the best keeper in for the budget we have available. Don't care how old he is.

  • Its a young non league keeper. He was having his medical this afternoon....straight from Parky's mouth...he said he didnt want to waste money on an experienced keeper as Robbie is no1 and he wants more quality in the final third, so its a young prospect...

My bromley supporting mate reckons its Wesley Foderingham.

Old fulham youth who was released this summer. Former England youngster, was on loan at Bromley last year, played against palace (and was motm) the day before we played Bromley. Looked a class above blue square south last season.

Has been training with and rumoured to be signing for Palace, though obviously second choice here is preferable to 3rd/4th there
  • it will be Ross Worner from Woking.

Parky came down to the ground to thank everyone who turned up for the seat cleaning...and he said he has this youngster about to sign....wouldnt name, names though, but his medical was this afternoon

nice story if true! Parky continues to rise in my estimation.
  • Did he say it was a keeper or just a youngster?

Wonder what happened to the defender that the SLP thought we would sign today?
  • IF it is Ross Worner then he's a good young prospect. He's 21 in October and he's come through the Woking Academy. I've seen him play a few times for Woking and he could be the real deal if he gets a chance.
  • Dave Storry ; )
