Read on a messageboard, despite the fact he scored some early goals (which have dried up), they are beginning to see the lazy side of Izale who is seemingly not up for the relegation fight.
Favourite quote was something like "he may score a couple of pens, if he can be bothered with the run up".

uhmm, seems something is amiss down at Barnet though. Basey was effectively kicked out because of his attitude but he rolls up at Peterborough, a side chasing promotion to the Championship as opposed to one heading for non-league oblivion, and earns himself a contract until June 2012. Maybe there is an underlying problem as opposed to players bad attitude. I don't know either way but there is always three sides to every story.
Basey's short term contract at Barnet expired and he was reluctant to sign a new one if he could get something better, so he didn't want to re-sign.
Barnet "spun" it that if he didn't have the right attitude, (ie sign a new contract for them), then they didn't want him.
Basically, they didn't want to tell the truth and say that he was looking for a better club.
Christiano Bolanos, on trial at Charlton in pre-season 2006, played in home match v New Zealand. On the right wing for FC Copenhagen v Chelsea tonight. Costa Rican international, we couldn't get a work permit at the time.

We were so confident of his signature /work permit that he is featured in the 2006 / 7 handbook as a player
