Can we make this a thread where you post only Charlton related dreams so we can look back on it as time goes on and see if anyones dreams ever came true.

Dream 1 - Night of The 15th July 2010

I had a dream about Yeovil last night for some reason. They turned up early at The Valley (which didnt look like the Valley - more like the ramshackled old gay Meadow away end) but it was our home game. They brought a huge away following and had a practice match between their first X1 and 2nd X1 and thats all i remember. Strange....

I had a dream where I was at the Valley and the whole crowd was comprised of naked page 3 models, and we all had a ...............I had better keep this one to myself, cos there wasn't much football being played.

Dream 1 - Last year - Met Curbs he told me he was my dad!! (He isn't) Thats about it.

Dream 2 - Last year - Had a dream I was Scott Parkers dad (I'm not)

Told Mrs Bibble about said dreams, she is worried, mind you best if I dont tell her about the Kylie one (Minogue not Dean), she went through the card, top bird!!!!

True story - I dreamt that Wagstaff was going to score goals in key games and at key times. Funny as I never remember my dreams but this was really vivid. In In the dream Waggy became a real talisman and Charlton hero.

Hope it comes true and I must remember not to eat cheese at bedtime

I had a similar dream myself but couldn't decide which model to choose. In the end I just had to toss.

Dreamt one night as we sat in the top four holding onto Chelseas shirt tails pushing for a place in Champs league, that it all started to implode. We sold our best player for £10 mill to Chelsea started to drop down the table, Curbs went Bent, Murphy, Di Canio, Young all went. Employed a series of egotistical dingbats who wasted countless millions which left us £35 mill in debt after two relegations and to cap it all The Scum ended up above us in the leagues.
Thankfully the Mrs came in with my Tea and eggy soldiers to wake me up before it could get any worse.

What a Nightmare !!!

Back to reality.....Who have we got first game of the season Man Utd or Arsenal ???

Had a really weird CAFC related dream a short while ago. Dreamt it was the first game of the season and I was sitting in a brand new seat (which is not too far from reality as I am moving seat this season), it was in the West Stand. One massive problem was that on the top tier, nobody could see the whole pitch and there was a game going on below which I could not see. Started shouting and moaning but no one around seemed to mnd not being able to watch the whole game but did look at me like I was some kind of freak. Remember moving around the stand but still could not find somewhere where the whole pitch and game ws visible.

Really weird but I remember it well, luckily I have already sat in the area of the East where I am moving seat this coming season.

Had a nightmare about curbs last night , we were at a Q & A and I made a little remark teeing him up so he could say how murray had made a big mistake not letting him see out his contract etc and curbs just flipped at me saying " look we all know you were one of the main reasons I left , you turn up everywhere with your snidey remarks but all the time you were as big a reason as any that I left"
Didn't find what the reason was(stalking maybe) but I was well shook up by the way curbs just laid into me , I woke up and was gutted, my curbs dreams usually have a happy ending :-)

Back in the late eighties I dreamt that we were playing Tranmere Rovers in the 2017 FA Cup Final. I have never 'got back into' that dream to see who wins. Not long until we find out now.

Had a dream last night that we were playing Palace away but I wasn't there and kept checking the score. It was either 3-3 or 4-3 to us near the end, Akpo scored one of them.

Then it went strange and there was something about it being 12-12 with Palace bringing on some young players who scored a lot of the goals against us.

Had another one, we beat Man Utd 3-1. Akpo scored one of them, a really soft goal for Man Utd to give away.

I think you'll find your dream was actually about the Johnny's Paint Pot Final 2011......Charlton v Tranmere.

Weird you should bring this thread up because I had a dream that Semedo scored the only goal of the game tomorrow and David Haye knocked out Harrison in about the 3rd round I think, I might have a double on it!!

My mate in Merthyr (Charlton Fan) Paul said his dad was a pro boxer and was a regular at the Valley in the 60's and 70's

I just had a Charlton dream!
Racon was in hospital with some sort of chest problem. Then at the match we found out he died. It was sad.

As long as Akpo is only in football related dreams, I'm not too worried. It's probably just a sign we should bring him off the bench more often, right?

I dreamt I was reffing a Charlton game once - dont know why I didn't question why I was a ref but from I soon woke up when the Millwall fans started to chase me after a couple of soft penalties.

I had a dream a few years back. We were playing Spurs at home and were short of a forward and curbs was fretting about it. He then asked me (as for some strange reason i was hanging around the changing rooms) if i wanted to play? So, all kitted up, i made my debut for the addicks...............and played just as i would have if it was real life, bloody awful. my control was as good as a drunk blind man.......... Can't recall the score as my dream (or nightmare more like) finished mid game as my alarm rudely awoke me. Can remember the feeling of utter dissapointment for letting the boys down and feeling cheated that as it was my dream, why could i not have played like a drug-fuelled Maradona and danced round the yids defence, making them look silly?

I'm still hoping that Curbs will put that performance down to nerves and give me another chance when i next find myself in the valley of dreams............
