If only this meant some good financial news...

Heard on the radio this morning that "Who wants to be a millionaire" have won their case against Disney re Americam broadcast rights and are set to get $277M. I know Richard Murray is no longer involved with it, but this dates back to 1999, when I believe he was. Wouldn't it be lovely if a proportion of this dosh was heading his way? (Although apparently Disney will appeal, so could drag on a lot longer yet...)

  • It would be nice but this is Charlton and fairy tales only have happy endings in Disneyland!
  • Ok.. richard you've done really well. The next question is worth 200 million pounds. If charlton were given 200 million what would you do with it?

    A) clear all debits, invest in safe guarding the clubs future, secure the academy and reemploy all staff made redundant since 2007.

    B) sack the current manager hire one of the best up and comming coaches with great ideas and innovations for trainning methods and and give them 50 million to spank up the wall on new 'ahem' talent.

    Cough cough cough....

Sorry can the ugly gentlmen please leave the studio.

    C) buy an island in the indian ocean and retire in peace and happiness

D)clear all debts and start the slow but worthwhile rebuild of the club with varney at your side and sir alan in the dugout..
