Don't know if this has been mentioned before but today's South Wales Echo is reporting Cardiff still owe us £500k on the Hudson deal. Could do with that right now!
They are more skint than us.........the only difference is they dont sell their players, they are happy to go to into administration and recieve a deduction in points,

not extra unexpected income. Would already have been budgetted for when deal was done. Likelihood is the Club might even have borrowed against this future guaranteed income. Either way it won't affect transfer buget/wages budget now.
with Ledley joining Celtic Cardiff have missed out on that cash. We might have to wait a tad longer for our money. If they don't pay they will remain under a transfer embargo until they do.
Henry (quotes wont work on my phone) thanks for that had no idea.
So worst case scenario we wait a fair while for the money. I assume if they are that skint they will try and re-negotiate i.e we'll give you 350k now if you write the rest off.

Doubt it. We can sell the debt for less than that to a factoring firm who would then chase them.
If, as seems likely, it's the 2nd payment then it might not even be overdue yet or only by a few weeks.
If they don't pay us the League can always hold back TV money (as they did with Pompey) and pay that to other clubs.

Football debts have to be paid in full even when a club goes into Admin
