The reason why the Boyd transfer went through and the Bailey transfer has been delayed is probably simple.
Boyd = Free Agent so no serious up-front cash needed to complete the purchase.
Bailey = Under Contract and costing 1.4 million quid so the Boro CEO is probably needed in town to sign in person the neccesary bank papers that will release the cash for the move.
