This is taken from a book called "Born to Dribble", which is rather amusing, and I thought this might be worth a visit seeing as we're in League One...
Doncaster Rovers fans haven't given their fans much to cheer about in recent times so the crowds have resorted to amusing themselves. In 1991, they started chanting "Would you like a piece of cake?" to the opposition fans for no apparent reason. Though the police intervened and tried to quieten the home side, they eventually saw the funny side. Of course the next team to visit, Burnley, brought a load of cakes to the ground and the fans dished them out to the policemen.
How random, yet fun... I think we should do something similar once we realise we're up for a pretty crap season (probably) of mediocrity. But let's get a Charlton spirit going again! It seems to be lacking somewhat...

It really is a piece of cake
One of those Batoncharge cakes.
I'm sorry, I have a cold.
Charlton Supporters can do no wrong - so of course, we'd have Angel cake.
Sorry, there's no Lardy cake left.
;o)
