[cite]Posted By: Saga Lout[/cite]Dailly gets my vote, with the slight concern that he's another year older and getting towards the end of his career, meaning he may not play so often in the coming season.
Was still the fittest man in most of our games last year ...Has to be Dailly, Sure he captained Scotland and West Ham (although i could be wrong) so experienced enough to do the job.
I really, really cant see why people would want Richardson as captain - didnt have a great season and doesnt seem to be a leader type at all. Dailly is the obvious choice but theres something really uninspiring about making a veteran playing out his last years captain of a side thats meant to be chasing their way up the leagues - dont get me wrong, i think hes done very well for us, but i think we benefit from his experience whether hes captain or not. I would give it to Semedo - composed, reliable, intelligent player, been with the club a while now.
Richardson had a good start and good finish, but a poor middle part to the season. Dailly was captain last season and should keep the captaincy this season accompanied by the arm badge.
Bailey got the arm badge to keep him at the club but he was not a natural captain
[cite]Posted By: thenewbie[/cite]To be fair to Richardson I seem to remember his poor spell coincided with a injury of some kind, could be mistaken though...
Yeah he had a run of knocks and was rushed back a couple of times beacuse Solly was also injured and Omosuzi struggled to find his best form, at least to begin with. Remeber Youga was playing RB for a few games.
I wouldn't make Richo captain though - he does seem a good lad and he's another in the up-an-at-em mould, but I sometimes think you need a calmer and more considered player as captain - if a player is already an all action trier, making them captain can see them over-try as with Bailey.
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of trying to use it as a tool to try and get Racon regularly motivated and leading from the front, although Dailly remains the natural choice.

What he said.
WTF????? Richo was probably one of our three best players last season, certainly in terms of consistency.
