I haven't heard anything so far but hopefully we can get a young goalscorer, and hopefully we will give him a proper chance.
I heard that spurs were planning to loan some players to portsmouth, Harrys guilt, but i thought there was a maximum of 1 player that can be loaned from a particular club.
Does anyone know if these are the rules, and that we will only be able to have one player from liverpool per season?

since when has that been in the rules? im sure Darren Ferguson used to loan at least 2 players from Sir Alex, i ma y be wrong but haven't ever heard of that
Welcome Bexley Dan, you'll regret signing up its very addictive and sometimes depressing here )
As fot the thread has been posted before at least twice, type livepool loan in search and hey presto it should be there
i think, could be wrong but, it's maximum of 4 players from the same club - however you're only allowed 2 under 23 from the same club and 2 over 23 for the same club.
so for example- we could have nathan eccleston and Jay Spearing and then Gerrard and Torres and that would be ok.

At Peterborough, Darren only signed one player from Sir Alex, which was James Chester (a young CB, amazing for us on Football Manager btw ), whilst at Preston I think he only signed Danny Welback last season.
I seem to recall it being a limit of 4 players from 1 club, though I could be wrong.
I suspect we could have something here , Liverpool loan out lots of players to clubs at this level and I hope that this was written into the Shelvey deal.
Leicester got Jack Hobbs whilst in League One and later Jay Spearing . Huddersfield got Eccleston and Kelly and Swindon got Darby last season.Tranmere loaned an emergency Goalie Gulacse and the Liverpool Reserves play at Prenton Park.Accrington , Bradford and Hereford also loaned players from them last year
Personally I think talk about Jay Spearing is unrealistic . If he is not retained for CL and Carling Cup squads then I suspect he will go back to Leicester.
Liverpool acquire a lot of foreign youngsters who may need a loan spell to introduce them to English Football. Once we know where the gaps in our squad are then we should look to see who might be available.
I think the inter milan thing has made us all a bit sceptical but nothing ventured, nothing gained i guess and we certainly need a bit of luck in the transfer / loan market if we are to have anything other than a struggle this year i reckon. Personally i think we need a proper midfield playmaker and a centre forward. But there again, who doesn't?
Nathan Eccleston is a possibilty, had a mixed spell at Huddersfield but may benefit if we took him for 3-6 months in order to give the las time to settle and get used to L1. We could offer first team football and although I do not know much about him, his record s apparanrly very impressive for youth teams/ressies so could be the finisher/goalscorer we need.
Here's the list of Liverpool Reserve and Academy players from Wikipedia. As you can see there would be a lot of choice :

Is Shelvey really going to be guaranteed 15+ games this season now that Hodgson has taken over? Not trying to provoke anyone, just curious. Just noticed this Hodgson comment the other day and it sounds like he may not feature too much this coming season.

If not, can we have him back on loan please?!
Someone claiming to be 'ITK' say Hodgson wants Morgan Schneiderlin and will give us the option of having Jonjo on a season-long loan.

Would be pleased to get Stephen Darby on loan as replacement for Richardson, did well for Swindon last season and can fill in at left back aswell if required. Still hurts to think about it but Darbyy can take a penalty aswell.

If they put up the wages we'll make sure Fernando Torres gets 90 minutes of football a week.

I reckon we'll get that Jonjo Shelvey geezer.
No point he would only be sub for Racon
If not, can we have him back on loan please?!
Nemeth would be good at league 1,
Someone claiming to be 'ITK' say Hodgson wants Morgan Schneiderlin and will give us the option of having Jonjo on a season-long loan.
LOL!
Never said he would, personally I wouldn't want him. Especially if it was part of a deal that involved Schneiderlin leaving.
Pardew did give him his debut remember....
