  • oops ment to change it to other sports and football
  • sorry but already a thread on this from when it was on TV.

    So what Henry?

Surely if the guy is new to the forum and wants to start a thread he doesn't have to go hunting around for a previous one.
That way any newbies can join in and the stalwarts can take a rain check if they want to?
  • whats the big deal?

As a newbie surely easier to join an existing thread than have to start one from scratch.

Also makes the forum work better.

  • No big deal mate, just don't see why it matters if he starts his own.

And how's he supposed to find it?

You are worse than a traffic warden.
  • as i said it makes the forum work better.

If we all started a new thread everytime we had a comment to make there would be no discussion.

Surely better to politely point out that there is an existing thread to join than let people shout SINK or post titanic pictures.
  • I actually know Ben; I was in a drama production with him at the start of Year 10 (I'm in Year 11 now). He's simply an awesome footballer. His acting wasn't too bad, either.

If we all started a new thread everytime we had a comment to make there would be no discussion. True, but not quite the same thing

Surely better to politely point out that there is an existing thread to join than let people shout SINK or post titanic pictures.I'm with you there mate

  • Astonished as to how he got to Inter played with him before for a seaosn a couple of years bag can't say he stood out much and certainly not Inter standard

Politely, yes. Arsey and curt, perhaps not.

I first thought you were talking about "our" Ben (or Henry Irving to you).

    ;o)
  • Does anybody know the actual details of his stay at Inter. Is he professionally contracted? or is he on a trial? is he being paid or does he just get room & board whilst he is on trial?

Syaing "sorry but already a thread on this" = "arsey and curt" I don't think so. Try reading some of Leroy Ambrose's posts if you want a better example : - )

Some people are obviously either very very touchy or just looking for an excuse to have a dig at someone.

    Or both.

    Sad.

  • Ladies, ladies, ladies. Can we stop pulling each other's hair and actually explain to me what on earth this is about? Some bloke from Welling signing for Inter?!
  • Anyone know if he still plays for inter?

  • Apparently he is still under contract at inter but was sent out on loan to Italian 3rd division team Como
  • Last I heard (about 3 or 4 months ago) that he wasn't planning to stay in Italy after this season but I could be wrong as haven't seen or heard anything about him since.

  • he was on loan/playing  at brighton last i heard . ive been told he is a charlton fan , and he had the choice of charlton or brighton

  • Ben has re-signed for Welling.
  • Didn't work out then really? Interesting to hear his views on the past year.
  • Can we change the thread title to Welling to Inter to Welling please?
  • ive been told he's a charlton fan , but turned us down mid last season infavour of going onloan to brighton !

  • Welling, Inter Milan, Welling, Brighton, Welling..........hmmmmmmmm and claims he turned us down - yeah right!
  • would be interesting to put him on trial if he hasn't got a club. Then again we already have a winger "for the future" in Ruben Bover, plus we have Harriot coming through the ranks as well.

Got to have a club in order to go on loan
  • He played for Welling against us pre-season.
  • He's not got a club as yet, but he trains with them to try and stay in some sort of shape. He has agreed to play if they need but it is nothing formal. He was talking to Birmingham but that fell apart around the time Carson Yeung got himself in bother. His agent isn't doing him any favors in my opinion. Has trained a bit with Aldershot and Dag & Red.
