  • Great stats, must be some work compiling all this, enjoyed looking at these throughout the season, cheers for sorting.
  • Great stuff as always.

Well done Jose. A much better way to choose the POTY imho. If he stays anyone fancy chipping in to get him a trophy of some sort?

Ooah must be having multiple orgasms over those away stats : - )
  • and Breathe.....

    That is Stat-tastic.
    Loving the away attendance stats.
  • Fantastic work. FACT
  • Superb work Danny.

Away followings not too shabby. But i'm dreading next years numbers.

  • wheres the stat to see which position we'd have finished in other countries with our points per game average?
  • Good work mate although misses the all important percentage of home support going to away games.

Unfortunately Millwall put us to shame but 1400ish is no bad effort - better than a few in the Prem I reckon.
  • Its interesting to note that the top 3 would have been exactly what i would have voted for:

    1. Semedo
    2. Dailly
    3. Bailey

Note that Kyel Reid got 6 MoM out of 16 appearances, impressive.

Surprised Richardson didn't score a little higher to be honest
  • Great work AFKA.

How many of Reid's MoMs were as a sub?

Think we should try and permanently sign that OG striker? Five goals, and didn't cost us a penny...

Think we should try and permanently sign that OG striker? Five goals, and didn't cost us a penny...
Doubt we can afford his wages, played for England the other day and scored twice.
  • Great stats AFKA, well done. Not just the final compilation, but I think this whole series have been amongst the most interesting threads on CL this year. Some thoughts:
    - I would have expected our overall possession over the season to have been more than 51.2%. Perhaps thats an area we need to work on this year. Lack of goals from set pieces I'd think is the other biggie.
    - Across the season, the fifteen minutes before half time was the only period where we conceded more than we scored. This suggests to me that if there is any blame to be aportioned for not getting promoted, it sits more with the players than the manager. Professionals shouldn't need to be given a half time rocket to maintain their performance.
    - Good away following we had; well done to everyone who went. Shame our lowest following was for arguably the best performance, but I'm sure the 399 who went to Tranmere thoroughly enjoyed it.
    - Did Brighton really have only 2,300 at The Valley? I thought they were the most impressive away fans all season.
    - Did Richardson's ratings (I found it interesting) suffer from him being a full back; it's not as sexy as forward or midfield is it? Or was it that he took a while to get back to form after injury?

Is there a stat for that above? I couldn't spot it...

We certainly scored plenty of goals from corners. I've no idea how it compares to the divisional average though. I can't recall any goals from direct free kicks though apart from Llera's v Oldham in the last game, and Bailey v Barnet in the JPT.

No, that's just my perception. Sorry, I should have made that clear.
