Premiership fans like to see good football Leeds as a rule provide that Swidon dont. Although i agree with you and the Playoff semi Final was far more entertaining than Leeds game anyway.

Also The attitude you talk about when people only turn out for "big games" is awful dont care about Yeovil at home but they do Leeds in the prem it was the same, when we palyed say Norwich for example it was no were near as full than when Man utd were in town. Dont get me wrong i want to see the valley full but with Charlton fans not nobodys who just want a nice day out with their family go to Legoland if thats what you want i can even sell it too you :-)

I have to say i am very impressed with Saints being as high up in attendences as they are well done saints fans looking forward to coming back down your way next season.

We didn't sell 23,000 for Leeds Damo.

They added season ticket holders that weren't there.

They couldn't do this for the play-off game obviously because only tickets were sold.

That 21 thousand for Swindon was most likely our highest attendance this season.

The Leeds game was far from meaningless. Certainly not for me. We still had a chance of automatic promotion as a result

The Leeds game was on a Saturday not a School night so more children could attend.

Leeds brought more fans (in the Jimmy South Stand and elsewhere) than Swindon.

As said, all ST would have been counted for Leeds while Swindon was actual tickets bought. Even then we don't know if everyone turned up for each game.

Swindon was on TV.

Our gate was the highest of the four play-off games. Millwall had less than 16k, Huddersfield had under 15k in a 24k capacity ground. Swindon didn't sell out.

Also i think Hudds had a higher attendance when they met us in APR at the Galphram than they did for the playoffs. That could be wrong but im sure i was told that.

I think if the Swindon game had been on the Saturday it would have attracted roughly the same crowd as Leeds. On average we sell a lot fewer tickets for evening games now - this is masked during the regular season by the fact that the season tickets are counted either way.
