Do people not understand i have said agree with Gray9 as that would be the safe bet but personally, although admitedly got a bit of a gambler in me i would keep it
BTW though the easiest way to lay this off and guarantee yourself £300ish is Betfair you will need around £420 credited to your account to make the bet. If you're uncomfortable doing it yourslef then you should find someone you trust who's a little more familiar with laying bets to do it in their account. Keep that ticket safe :-)
Well played choice, great bet....personally was going to say as above and cover all the options, its better to win a bit less of a lot than all of nothing (that don't make sense) but reading all the other ideas think GRAY9 has found your best bet, blackpool +1, that way you have all outcomes covered in one bet rather than 2 (both blackpool and draw)
Mate I still think you should do what I have told you already
open a bet 365 account place £100 on the draw 23-10
open a tote sport account place £100 on Blackpool 21-10
This way you are gaurenteed a profit of,
£520 if Cardiff win
£130 if its a draw
£110 if blackpool win
Also you would recieve a £100 free bet with Bet365 and a £25 free bet with Tote sport.
I dont think laying with Betfair is worth it as you will lose a percentage of the winnings to them. plus you would only receive a £25 free.
At the end of the day you fancy Cardiff so reducing the win to £520 if it comes is not so bad as you will be receiving £125 in free bets.
Also if you put £200 on the draw, and Blackpool win then you have lost £200 of your own money which would just be silly, granted you will gain a free bet of £200 but there is a very good chance you will lose that bcause you need to stick the whole lot on one bet at evens or above.
Fair play Choice, cover both as above... when you are returning that much off a tenner £500 odd and £700 odd don't seem that different, it's a superb profit either way
Choice - just to give you the other side of the coin, you've made the bet and didn't have to do them all at once, i.e could have done them all one at a time and rolled them up. Why do that if you're not going to let it ride? Also the bookies take a large chunk in terms of untrue odds, that's how they make their money so if you make another bet (lay some off) now then in effect you are just diminishing your expected winnings (in the long run).
Obviously laying off and guranteeing some cash is a sensible option just thought I would play devil's advoccate.

You know i'm right son
If those free bet offers are correct this is a good idea. You could then "arb" the free bet for further profit or just have the free bet on a fancy.

Your right he will be diminishing his odds on Cadiff by £200 but he will also be gaining at least £110 cash plus a £125 in free bets to play on something else, its just something to fall back on if Cardiff do feck up.
I would watch in running betting. you might not need to do anything , unless blackpool score early ( see below) cover yourself with doing the draw if it gets near the end and cardiff are up
some of these free bets/deposits require being played through 3 times or something, confuse me I must say - betting amateur here and wish to remain so..

Best thing to do mate is stay clear. I was allowed to go in the betting shop when I was younger with my Dad, I was only allowed in because the manager was a Charlton fan and i've been hooked ever since. not good mate not good.
The free bet thing with Bet365 and Totesport are given after the 1st settled bet. your right though there is a few confusing ones like Blue square and 888 sport.
i was on 365, they give you a free 100% deposit equal to what you put in up to £200, although I didn't manage to play it through having initially covered my bet on our three results which didnt come in, I then layed one sure thing Chelsea FA cup but messed up the final one

Was about to say this, be very careful with the "free" bets
just open a betfair account and lay cardiff in 90 mins .... at least 9 times out of 10 betting with betfair gives you a better price ... you can then chose to lock in a guaranteed profit of whatever amount you want , as long as you can do the math...
i did the same as southend and backed swindon to go thru, even laid charlton to go thru at at 1.08 on betfair when we were 2 -0 up against 10 men, i thought we'd let a goal in ...
same as gray9 as well backed millwall for promotion from 9-2 after christmas and as low as 6-4 to soften the blow of 50 woodwork scum texting me for the 2nd time in 15 years

nice work - you'd be accused of aftertiming if you put this on the betfair forum though!
were we really as short as 1.08??????????
obviously lots of people out there who don't know what CAFC are like!!
Ok this is what i have done, thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
I have opened a bet365 a/c with a deposit of £200.
I have staked £200 (real money) on Blackpool +1 at 4/7 ensuring a return of £315, so a profit of £115
This is where it gets interesting...........
There is no "free bet", it is a 100% bonus, i would copy and paste the terms to save everyone a headache but cant find them now but here goes....
Basically i have staked the 100% bonus which is £200, on a draw at 23/10.
So....
If Cardiff win i walk away with £520. If Blackpool win I walk away with £115. If its a draw then i technically win £660 (for the draw) and £315 (for Blackpool +1), I will then have £315 in my withdrawable account and £660 in my bonus a/c
So a Cardiff or Blackpool win its straightforward with no issues and the 100% bonus bet of £200 is over
Heres the catches if the game end in a draw.....
I have to stake £1200 of bets until I can withdraw any money.
I would have staked £400 after tomorrow towards the £1200 so i need to stake another £800 to qualify for the withdrawal, the original 100% bonus £200 will aLways be withdrawable once i have reached £1200 in stakes and is not deducted from the ongoing bonus winning However if for example the next bet i place is £800 which takes me over the £1200 threshold then the first £315 of this will come from my withdrawable account (basically the winnings from blackpool +1)
If I withdraw the £315 part from the blackpool +1 then the bonus ends
If for example the £800 bet that takes me over the threshold loses then i will still have £175 which will then become withdrawable because i have met the £1200 threshold leaving me at worst £25 down
If for example the £800 bet that takes me over the threshold wins then its happy days and the best outcome all round.
Having said that I want the Cardiff win and walk away with a £520 profit but if it ends in a draw then I have an opportunity to accumalate a healthy profit if i use the bonus money sensibly. If it goes tits up then the max loss is £25
One thing to take into account is that all future bets that count towards the £1200 threshold have to be placed on odds of 1/2 or greater
Its all very interesting and in some ways they are giving themselves opportunities but then like i said if its used sensibly then you can work it to your favour
little word of advice I have an account with Bet365(by the way by far the best online bookies going). Anyway There is a way of getting around the rollover on the bonus. Basically if your bet on the draw cops then all you have to do roll over 1200 on non runners. I.E there first goalscorers are sometimes really out date , for example Izzy Mcleod was in the betting for us on Monday night. All you need to is wager all the money on players to score first who you know wont play and you get all the money back and counts towards the rollover. Then you can withdraw simples :)

Correct me if im wrong, but think that free bet is up to a maxiimum of 50 quid?
Nope.
"Open an account, make a deposit of £10 or more and you will be entitled to a 100% bonus on your qualifying deposit up to a maximum of £200"
You were on betfair during that game?!

Clever thinking
At least you covered yourself for some profit.
Yeah he got £115 profit but is still a miserable c*ck because the other two outcomes paid better
You were robbed £600 quid. Chase that money ;-)
lol sounds like something I would do until I was about £300 down
