Randolph - 7- Made very good save from Austin early in the second half. Nothing he could really do about penalties
Richardson - 8- Very good going forward and defensively. Solid.
Dailly - 9 MOM- Got in the way of everything deserves his POY title.
Llera - 7- Good game up to red card.
    Borrowdale - 7- Solid
Sam - 7- Saw glimpses of him doing defensive work which was pleasing to see.
Semedo - 7.5- Solid with great passes across the pitch.
Bailey - 6- Worst player on the pitch tonight..not for his penalty miss but mostly for his mistake for their goal.
Reid - 8- Brilliant performance, good going forward looked a threat each time he touched the ball.
Burton - 8- Best first half he ever had in a CAFC shirt. Really hopes he stays.
Mooney - 7.5- Well taken second goal. Non- stop running..one of the best performances in a charlton shirt.
Wagstaff -6.5- Unlucky with that shot that hit the post but offered very little.
Forster - 6.5- Great cut in and shot but nothing special.
Racon -7- Looked promising once he came on.

    Randolph - 6
    Richardson - 6.5
    Dailly - 7
    Llera - 5.5
Borrowdale - 5 (He is the worst corner taker i have ever seen! we did get the ogger though...)
Sam - 5.5 (boring, he needs to be active to be effective)
    Semedo - 7
Bailey - 5 -(missed a penalty charlton fans will never forget)
Reid - 7( best player in the first half)
    Burton - 6.5 (should have scored 1 or 2)
Mooney - 7 ( good goal, he has heart)
    Wagstaff - 6
Forster - 6 (had a great chance to win it after juking 2 defenders)
Racon - 6 (nice long shot, well saved by Smith)
  • Randolph - 7 Solid enough, penalties not his fault
Richardson - 7.5 Has got better and better last few months good penalty
Dailly - 9 Outstanding one everything and at 120 minutes looked the fittest player on the pitch
Llera - 8 Solid, looks like he will make a mistake and probably will make a few next year but he's a decent League One level centre back and I think he will be a very important player for us next season. Also took one for the team to prevent Austin from scoring and ending the tie.
Borrowdale - 7 Linked up well with Reid at times
Sam - 8 Tried hard like I think he has done all season, wingers at our club usually become scapegoats. All the best in the future if he leaves.
Semedo - 8 Immense again and filled in at centre back fine, please don't go in the summer
Bailey - 7.5 Had the chance to finish the game with the right pass, instead his miss sends us out. Can't really blame him though he put everything into it again as he always does.
Reid - 8 Run them ragged 1st half, then faded before getting back into the game in the 2nd
Burton - 8 Brilliant hold up play
Mooney - 8 Got a goal and he was actually getting on the end of passes and looked dangerous
Wagstaff - 6.5 Ran around kept leaving his man unmarked, never took his man on, alot of improvement needed next season if he's our to be our right winger
Forster - 6.5 Nearly scored, some poor touches from him and he was relativity fresh
Racon - 7.5 Never seen him so creative, nearly scored, created opportunity's for others

Randolph - 6.5 - As said, nothing really to do
    Richardson - 7.5 - Good game
Dailly - 8.5 - Solid, very good again
    Llera - 7 - Good
Borrowdale - 7 - Could see he tried to get forward and attack more
Sam - 7 - Defended well and had a decent game. Along with Mooney people quickly jump on any mistake he makes. Was taken off because of O'Brien's pace, not because he was having a bad game, Wagstaff is simply quicker and fitter, and has often had an impact as a sub when we're winning.
Semedo - 8.5 - Don't think he made a mistake at all. Has he got better in the last month or so, or has he just been that bit more up for big games?
Bailey - 6.5 - Was having a good game, but made the mistake for their goal and at the very least we need to get penalties on target
Reid - 8 - Very good game, set up the goal, had to come off as like Sam he can struggle with fitness
Burton - 7.5 - Good game with his usual nice touches, passes, hold up play etc
Mooney - 7.5 - Good game and a well taken goal
    Wagstaff - 6.5 - Did ok
Forster - 6 - Wasn't really impressed, seems to try to take players on when he's not good enough to do it, have noticed it in other games. Did well with his shot to create the space for himself though.
Racon - 7.5 - Much better, involved in attacks and offered more than just doing enough. Still have doubts he can play well consistently and when starting games though.
  • Nolly you are ridiculous re: Sam.

  • Randolph - 7 Didn't have a lot to do. A bit hesitant coming off line at times, including for goal.
Richardson - 8 Back to his best, and so unlucky hitting the post
Dailly - 9 Immense, and great pen
Llera - 8 Took one for the team - should only have been yellow IMO
Borrowdale - 7 Best I've seen him, and some good corners for a change
Sam - 7 Head dropped in second half. Sad way for him to end his Charlton career in all probability
Semedo - 9 Don't think he put a foot wrong apart from one or two mistimed tackles
Bailey - 6 A liability at times, but wouldn't wish the pen miss on anyone.
Reid - 9 Couldn't have done more. Wish we could sign him.
Burton - 8 Really good performance, and desperately unlucky on goal
Mooney - 8 Showed real class
Wagstaff - 7 A couple of strong runs, and covered back well.
Forster - 6 Afraid he is over the hill. Created space well for one big chance, but shot lacked power.
Racon - 8 They had no answer for him

Parkinson - 10 for giving us back our pride and team spirit

I think the 8 he has got is more ridiculous than a 3.

StubleyAddick - I agree with you that he was unlucky with the shot, but offered a goal on a plate for Burton at the end which he fluffed. Also if Bailey had passed to Reid instead of the other way they wouldn't have got their goal and we would be in the play-off final. Oh well, there is always next year!

Bailey - 5 Not for that penalty miss which is excusable. For giving away the ball several times, particularly when we were threatening to put the game to bed. Also, for constantly ordering every single player back to defend corners and making the calls to sit too deep against PP's wishes from the touchline.

    Reid - 9
    Burton - 8.5
Mooney - 9 Clever running, nice touches and a superb finish - GOAL OF THE SEASON with the build up play too
    Wagstaff - 7.5
    Forster - 7.5
    Racon - 7.5

Mangement: 9 They had the team well fired up / good tactics and subs / lots of passion and screaming out orders - shame 'the Captain' wasn't listening.

    Bailey - 5.5 - 7.5 for performance... -1 for their goal -1 for pen
Reid - 8 Run them ragged 1st half, then faded before getting back into the game in the 2nd
Burton - 9 Won everything... ridiculously good first touch
Mooney - 8 Got a goal and he was actually getting on the end of passes and looked dangerous

  • Randolph - 7 He was fine. He's surprised me this season and should definitely start next season as No.1 (as long as he stays)
Richardson - 8 Really solid and was unlucky with his blistering shot late on
Dailly - 9 What a player. If only we could've got him a year earlier and paired him with Hudson.
Llera - 8 Hardly put a foot wrong until the send off (we did leave him a bit exposed and one on one he'll always struggle....maybe should have hit Paynter from behind from the initial ball).
Borrowdale - 7 Was tight at the back and played a lovely weighted pass for Reid (build up to Mooney goal)
Sam - 6.5 Not his best game but plenty of effort.
Semedo - 9 Brilliant. I'd be amazed (and pleased) if we keep him. The only thing missing from his game now is goals.
Bailey - 7 A few stray passes but he got better. Got plenty of tackles in but didn't get into the box enough.
Reid - 8 Excellent first half and worked hard defensively too. Be great if he'd stay next season but I suspect he won't.
Burton - 8 Couldn't have tried any harder but he isn't a natural finisher. Gave Swindon's centre backs a really tough time with his heading and hold up play.
Mooney - 8 Moved well, showed a great touch and his finish was superb. There is definitely more to come (especially if he fills out a bit) and I'd be happy to see him stay.
Wagstaff - 7 He is starting to show signs of getting to grips with 1st team football. A bit too frenetic when he first came on but settled down and he should be fine next season. He's got a good shot and looks a much bigger goal threat than Sam.
Forster - 6.5 Made his own chance and brought a good save from ther keeper but will feel disappointed with only one goal from open play for us.
Racon - 7.5 Open nature of the game suited him and was really unlucky as his great shot would've beaten many keepers.

  • Randolph - 6 - Not much to do. Could he have reacted quicker for the goal? Didn't get too close to the penalties.
Richardson - 7.5 - Tireless overlapping, but didn't manage to create anything directly.
Dailly - 8 - Soild, hope he stays.
Llera - 8 - All heart and unlucky with sending off.
Borrowdale - 7.5 - His best game for us, got forward a lot more than usual. Partly culpable for goal?
Sam - 8 - Tried his nuts off in my eyes - really don't see what people are finding to slag him off about last night.
Semedo - 9 - Man I hope we hang onto this lad, he's really improving and starting to get involved higher up the pitch.
Bailey - 6.5 - Real mixed bag. Thought he was poor and sitting far too deep (behind even Semedo) up until they scored. Horrible error for their goal, and prime example of the negatives of playing him in the middle, Racon would never have misplaced such a simple pass. He woke up after that and we got the captains performance we were hoping for and he was up behind the strikers, getting shots in. Sadly it all went sour in the end. It was a poor pen but it can happen to anyone so no real criticism of him for that.
Reid - 9 - All pace and energy, such a shame he wasn't fit enough to last into extra time.
Burton - 9 - Vintage Burton. Would have been 10 if he'd burried that late chance on the turn.
Mooney - 8.5 - Great goal, full of running, was staying on his feet and showing some nice touches. Looked most likely to score. When he plays like this he looks a good player.
Wagstaff - 7 - Came on and tried and payed as well as he has for a while but not able to have any great impact.
Forster - 6.5 - Decent movement and did well to work that chance, but dissappointed with finish. Poor first touch denied him a couple of other sites of goal.
Racon - 8 - Showed his quality on the ball and kept up the good work Reid had been doing as best he could considering he doesn't have Reid's pace.

Overall, a great effort that I can't pick too many faults with - I thought we battered them for periods. The team very much turned up and showed no signs of being the 'bottle jobs' so many have suggested they are. All we needed was a consistent goalscorer in the second half of the season and we'd have gone up automatically, imo.
