[cite]Posted By: Ormiston Addick[/cite]In all seriousness, the commentators at the start of the game said that the Charlton mascot last night, a young lad, had a serious illness that needed life-saving surgery that is only available in the US.
That poor kid's family know what real tragedy and heartbreak is, the rest of us really don't have much of a clue if truth be told.
Ormiston all the details are here if you hadnt heard about Adams appeal since before last night. he was also at the Leeds game. Good publicity for their fundraising last night and looks like lots of money is going in.
Thanks Curb It, I had a quick look around the OS to make a donation but could not find any details about the lad.
I will go on there and make a donation today, although I am not sure I can stretch to UK100,000 - I might have to keep it to around the UK50,000 mark.
As for AFKA - We have three year old twins (and a five year-old), there is no easy way to say this one mate.....you are in for a right mauling from those two when they arrive! Good Luck and I hope it all goes well.
