  • Report to police!!!! They shouldn't get away with it. I imagine there will be lots of CCTV near the car park.
  • called the police at the time and they have just given me a case No. :-(

    Are you a palace fan?
  • You leave 2 PSPs and a wallet in your car.

    Silly boy!
  • Charlton fan all the way......I thought the atmosphere was one of the best at the valley tonight and we were very very un lucky........

But, if we didnt goto extra time I would still have a window in my car
  • Smash n' grab.
    Probably Swindon.

    Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  • Mark - I suspect they saw you pulling in and your boy on the PSP? With hundreds of cars to choose from, they were very unlikely to pick a window at random for the lucky dip of the glove compartment....
  • strange isn't it........ my son wasn't even playing it,

I never go to glove box before I leave the car

  • Unlucky Mark. Did you notice any other broken glass by other cars or just yours?

Bit of a strange comment Mark, what has the extra time got to do with it??? they could have broken in 10 mins after the game started.
  • without wishing to get into a slanging match I would say never to leave anything of value in the car if you can help it and if you do then hide it up somewhere a bit better than the glove box.

    Willyour insurance weigh out Mark?
  • I usually park in Anchor and Hope Lane. Bit worried myself last night to see the Pikeys have moved in!

I am not sure why WSS's comment deserved that abuse. After all leaving your car in Charlton has got it risks, so leaving valuables in it is "silly". Doesn't make the robbery right, but leaving stuff in your glove box in charlton is silly.

I dont think it anything to do with WSS comment he just thinks he is one!! ;-)
  • In a rush and forgot to take my satnav off the windscreen Saturday when I parked in Anchor & Hope Lane. Have apologised to Police for causing a crime to be committed, admitted my offence and promised not to do it again.

We learned our lesson the hard way some time ago. The thing is 'they' see your colours when you leave the car, or the direction you're walking in, i.e to the Valley rather than the shops, and know they have around 2 hours to do your motor. They can afford to wait 'til there's no-one about. The odd thing with ours was that they took the radio cassette player but ejected my Duane Eddy tape and left it behind: no musical appreciation, some people!
  • Ive learnt the hard way, been done twice at Charlton, I now leave the glove box open to show its empty, dont leave anything valuable in the car at all.......
  • Pre Selhurst days, The Valley on matchdays was the No1 crime spot for car theft & break-ins.Not sure about these days.
  • Well just a thought as the footie is so kak --- how about we get someones motor set it up near a boozer with some stuff on show ---plot up in said boozer and wait for the scum to go for it ? we then grab the scum trample the granny out of em----- take em to Blackheath--- burn em-----brush up the ashes--- let the cat sh*t on em for a few weeks--- then leave what is left under ahuge banner with the title " your next you c**t !!!!!!" or do you thinking its a tad soft ?
  • lol :-)
  • As a small woman I would be the perfect beard for this operation. As long as someone else gets the car there, as I can't drive.
I also have a bat and a lot of anger.
    Lets do this.
  • Sounds like we have some entertainment lined up down at Charlton afterall

Thanks GH, youve certainly put a smile on my boat....
  • East Stand a bats no good they fly away, its a cat we want for the shi*ing on the ashes----bat i ask you a bat !! you need a cave for a bat anyway. And another thing since when do women south of Watford have beards ? you sure you aint a geordie ?
