    RED ARMY

AND ANY OTHER FECKIN SHITE SONGS

Bore-off Northstand Steve, what are you on today? they are our main songs, regardless whether you like it or not but they are the easiest for everyone to join in and would probably be the loudest
  • cafc cafc is not a main song its a simple song which requires no effort whatsover,it brings shame
  • This thread is absolutely mental.

We are the upper covered end. We are the lowe covered end. Instead of H block/J block. Would lve to hear that going for ages.

Valley floyd road could be on repeat. We just need se new songs repeated until some of us cotton on and join in.
  • Knees up mother brown and sweet molly Malone. The wailing come on you reds and cafc are for whimps :-)
  • No surrender to Steve Waggot?

    Jokes!
  • Cafc will be sung however much we moan, how about we slow it down so it's a long c------a-------f-------c.

We need to get the Swindon players and fans poking thereselves

I see you didnt respond? lol Mate we all have our opinions and ours obviously defer, someone was right when they said they aren't our main songs but they are still songs everyone knows so would be easier to generate alot of noise singing those no?

Also why stop singing a song just because we need more atmosphere my theory is it wont make much difference to the atmosphere, singing a few older songs wont necessary make the place more intimidating. but anyway lets hope theres alot of noise today all throughout regardless how its going lets make some noise!
  • I hate all chants it gets in the way or my depression and I would ask all of you to refrain from singing out of respect for others. Also think how intimidating a wall of silence would be to the Swindon players
  • my favourite is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
  • Please god no adams family or sent the palarse down.

And if we can manage it replace Red Army and CAFC with one of the proper old(er) songs.

Don't mind the VFR applause but we should sing VFR loud and on repeat before clapping!
  • VFR needs to be slowed down a bit too!!! Its not a race to see who can finish first.

Over the last couple of seasons its starting to sound like the chipmunks version!
  • Can't we just all sing from the same hymn sheet - AMEN !!

  • How about a ditty form the Mighty Quo?
  • I like 'Hands up, if you still believe'
  • CHarlton score Charlton score once you get one you'll get more you'll see us
  • Save all your kisses for me by Brotherhood of Man.
  • "The old ones have more feeling and venom to em.Shame you youngers dont know em "

Any examples for us youngsters :)
  • Yes please :)
But I do have to agree with the never ending CAFC it is awful, but my real pet hate is stand up if you love charlton, that one always annoys me
  • I see CAFC as our version of the Pompey Chimes. There are good and bad sides to that - it gets people making noise, but it's crap. Before anyone brings up the history of the Pompey Chimes, it was originally for a different team, and they changed the words so they're easier to remember now, so it doesn't count as being an 'old song'.
