  • Jeff Banks designed the uniforms that the original lottery sellers wore at Charlton. All the girls (including my Mum) had to go to his house for fittings as he couldn't get to the ground?
  • Where is/was Brockley Grammar School - Hilly Fields?
  • The Guvnor of the Red Lion on Shooters Hill in the late sixties / early seventies was Monty Banks, Jeffs old man.
  • Just Googled "Brockley Grammar School" and this thread was fourth on the list!
  • I once worked in the same building as him (different company) and met him a few times. A nice guy and I recall we chatted about Charlton - I think he spotted me wearing a scarf on the way to a midweek match.
