Randolph - 8 (impressed again. made a couple of great saves to keep charlton in it)
Richardson - 6 - (did what he had to do)
Borrowdale - 6.5 - (linked up well and useful coming forward when reid came on)
    S Sodje - 6.5 - (won his aerial battles)
    Dailly - 7 - (solid performance)
Sam - 6 - (didnt get at the city full back enough)
Semedo - 6.5 (solid no frills, did a job)
Racon - 5.5 (innefective. unable to get into the match)
Bailey - 6.5 (some influential moments but not involved a great deal)
Burton - 6.5 (on another day may have had a couple of goals)
Forster - 6.5 (looked the part but missed a great opportunity to win it)

Llera - 6.5 (did a job and hit the post with a well taken free kick)
Reid - 8 (goal and once again Charlton looked threatening with him on the pitch - must be held back now for the play offs so he is 100% fit)
  • Randolph - 7
    Richardson - 6
    Borrowdale - 6
    S Sodje - 6.5
    Dailly - 7
    Sam - 6.5
    Semedo - 6
    Racon - 4
    Bailey - 5.5
    Burton - 5.5
    Forster - 6

    Llera - 6.5
    Reid - 7
  • Randolph - 8.5 Several very good saves and cleared his lines well. Looks the part.
Richardson - 6.5 Not bad. Did his best to get forward late on.
Borrowdale - 6 Defended ok but didn't offer much coming forward. Steady enough.
S Sodje - 7 Did well in the air.
Dailly - 7.5 Defended really well.
Sam - 5.5 Forced to go looking for the ball and rarely got going down the wing.
Semedo -6 Competed well enough but didn't get it all his own way.
Racon - 5 Found it difficult to get on the ball and cocked it up in the build up to Exeter's goal. Can't help thinking Spring would have been a bit more involved.
Bailey - 6 Better when he was moved inside and got in a couple of good tackles. Nearly scored with a good glancing header.
Burton - 6 Not fit and ran out of steam (but we'd used our subs by then). Still caused a few problems but really needs a goal.
Forster - 6.5 Another day and he'd have had a couple. Did well for the goal and kept going to the end.

Llera - 6.5 Not as good defensively as Sodje but does make us look better on the ball and helps others to shine.
Reid - 7.5 Fed well late on by Llera and Borrowdale and tried to be direct. Did well and if he could get really fit, he'd start every game.
  • Randolph - 8 - Some fine stops and seems to be in decent tune with the back 4, needs to work on his kicking though - gets plenty of distance but 1 in 3 go straight out of play.
    Richardson - 5 - Kept getting skinned.
Borrowdale - 6 - Steady but distinctly unspectacular.
S Sodje - 5 - Not as dominant in air as usual, wayward distribution.
Dailly - 5.5 - Better in air than Sodje, similarly wasteful with possession.
Sam - 5 - Never really got going, but wasn't given much of the ball due to weak centre midfield and overly direct passing.
Semedo - 5.5 - Not as dominant as we've come to expect, not helped much by ref or Racon.
Racon - 4 - Poor game, centre midfield was overun while he was in it and was wasteful with his passing.
Bailey - 6.5 - Poor on the left (isolated in similar way to Sam), much better in the middle - started to make challenges again and lifted team after we equalised. I still expect more from our Captain though.
Burton - 5 - Wasted 2 good chances and hold up play not as good as it can be, but not helped by service - far too much at head height against 2 big centre backs instead of stuff to chest and feet.
Forster - 5.5 - Similar to Burton but slightly better hold up play. I think he may have scored but Lino disagreed.

Llera - 8 - Good little cameo, defended well and played ball out accurately and thoughtfully from defence. Good effort against post from freekick too - why hasn't he had more chances to take them?
Reid - 8 - Really livened us up and should have been on at half time, although his impact was partly due to Bailey and Llera helping us keep possesion better than Racon and Smodje had meaning Reid actually had the ball at his feet in attacking areas, a luxury Sam had been deprived of, for example.

  • Randolph - 9 Some top draw saves
    Richardson - 6 done ok
    Borrowdale - 6 done ok
    S Sodje - 6 solid
Dailly - 7 good all round diaplay
Sam - 4 didnt get into the game today.
Semedo - 7 had a battle on his hands but done well
Racon - 4 not good enough, I know he has a good understanding with Semedo, but would prefer Bailey in the middle, as Racon does not look a threat going forward.
Bailey - 5 quite game again
Burton - 6 won a few headers, should have scored in the first half
Forster - 6 played ok should have scored too

Llera - 6 looked solid when he came on.
Reid - 8 looked lively when he came on, should be starting on the left every week.

As usual we didn't really "push on" until we went 1 down & Reid came on for Racon and Bailey moved inside. Exeter wanted it a bit more than us.

  • Randolph - 7 - A couple of very good saves, but generally comfortable with everything he needed to do.
Richardson - 6 - Up against a decent hard working winger who stretched him at times - but good work ethic and attitude
Borrowdale - 6 - Neat and tidy, invariably doing the simple things well. Yet you always feel he could up his game a notch
S Sodje - 7 - A couple of heart in mouth challenges in his own box, but played with determination and desire
Dailly - 7 - Dependable and tidy, - and even if he didn't always win his header, his challenge was always there.
Sam - 6 - Very little service from our CM, but crowded out by Exeter who were determined he wouldn't see much of the ball
Semedo - 7 - Spent much of the game as a 1 man CM, did the simple thing well - but where was his support?
Racon - 5 - Some decent touches but often missing - he needs to impose himself on games!
Bailey - 7 - I'll give him 7 for his last 20 minutes performance, when we saw at last a Captain's performance.
Burton - 6 - Their CB's were massive compared to our front 2 ....but when we played ball to feet, Burton was well involved
Forster - 6 - Not really his day - got in all the right positions, another day would have scored, handball on goaline excepted

Llera - 7 - This was a surprise - looked assured, good distribution and fed Reidy well. Great freekick that struck the post

Reid - 8 - I like to choose a MOM, so I'll be a little over generous and give him that for the impact he made as a sub.
Llera and Borrowdale fed him well, consequently he saw far more of the ball and more space than Sam. Also linked well with Forster, as we saw with our equaliser. It's evident that he's not fully fit, as he should have torn his fullback to shreds but rarely took the ball to the line.
Well into added time, he had a glorious opportunity to win the game but shot far too early and from too sharp an angle, sending his shot well wide. He should have scored, and had he done that would have earned a 9.
  • A view from the other side

    Randolph - 7 Solid
    Richardson - 6
Borrowdale - 5 Allowed us to much room
S Sodje - 6 needs to be stronger in the air
    Dailly - 7
Sam - Disappointed with Lloyd - did not cause us problems, defended poorly
    Semedo - 6
    Racon - 6
Bailey - 6 Expecting a lot more, but he did not seem happy out wide in the first half
    Burton - 6
    Forster - 6

    Llera - 6
Reid - 8 - gave you more attacking options when he can on
