I think those 3 roofs (with the loft conversions ; )) that can be seen at the back of the photo are where the "Chippy" is now in Flyod road, I seem to remember those tea bars that are along the back of the houses in Flyod road.
[cite]Posted By: DaveStorry[/cite]Nah, I think that pic is from inside the ground, The shed is where the current players entrance is and the stand is the covered end.
(Stands by to be shot down !!)
I'm sure the tall building behind the shed is where Maurice Banham kept his lawn mowers : P
Come on there must be someone on here who's older and has a better memory than me, this doing my head in : (
Can the shed not be salvaged and restored back into commission for Palace to use as their main residence when they come to rent off of us. Nice and cheap for them to change the A to a P and the R to a C ( CPFC Office).

I reckon T.C.E has it right. The shot is taken from where the back of the Superstore is now, looking back towards the bend in Floyd Road. So the houses on the left of the picture are the back of the chippy etc and those on the right are in Floyd Road.
The old Covered End was crap, but not that bad. I make that building with the corrugated roof the gents or something.

DaveStorry...sorry mate but you're completely arse about face there mate, yes it was taken from inside the ground but you need to turn round 180 degrees and you'll be somewhere near correct.
With DR on this One:
Basically the pic was taken (from the direction of....) the small bit of terrace between the Covered End and the Old West Stand, where i stood after the seats were put in the CE.

Cheers guys.
Looks like a dodgy betting syndicate to me. Hope it wasn't that lot that tried to rig the floodlights.
