  • Fans planning to purchase tickets for Charlton's clash with league leaders Norwich City before kick-off on Saturday are being urged to bring their Red Cards to The Valley.

Upwards of 20,000 supporters will watch the encounter between the Addicks and Canaries in SE7, with hundreds more following the action via a beam-back at Carrow Road after the visitors sold out their allocation in the Jimmy Seed Stand.

Tickets for Saturday's fixture remain available to Red Card holders with a previous purchase history from this season, and commercial centre manager Dave Archer urged supporters keen to buy tickets for either of the club's remaining home league matches against Norwich and Leeds United not to forget their Red Card.

"It's a big game on Saturday, and naturally there has been a lot of interest shown by supporters,” said Dave.
  • Off the O/S. Doesn't say how many you can buy though, so you'll have to ring and ask I presume.

Tickets for Charlton's crucial League One clash against title-chasing Norwich City on Saturday, April 17th (3pm) are on sale to Red Card holders with a previous purchase history from this season.

Seats for the fixture are priced £17, £22 and £25 adults, £17 over 60s and U21s, and £5 U18s, and are available in person from the Valley commercial centre and by calling the ticket hotline on 0871 226 1905, but are not available online.

Tickets will be available from the ground before kick-off, but only to Red Card holders with a previous purchase history from this season.
  • i have bought 8 on my one red card. Does that help?

If you can't then it's an absolute joke, the club will surely still have a record of you.

See this is exactly the sort of thing the Supporters Director used to specialise in. He would get a phonecall from someone who had lost their telephone so could not call the club.

The person with the lost phone would suggest that all season ticket holders should receive a pay as you go mobile when renewing, with credit provided to call the club at a discounted rate.

Supporters Director would get narky, asking whether any cost analysis had been done, person with the lost phone would say no, Supporters Director would then say he will reluctantly present it to the board.

Supporters Director reluctantly presents it to the board, rolling his eyes dramtically, holding his arms out in a helpless manner, and saying "look i don't agree with this at all, but i've been asked to raise this by one of our idiot supporters, so don't shoot the messenger'.

Board would say 'that's a genius idea, excellent', Supporters Director says thanks a lot, i'm really proud of that idea.

Supporters Director calls up the News Shopper and tell them that he's had this brilliant new idea. NS runs the story. Story somehow mentions bottled beer.

Target 40k Committee tasked with taking the idea forward. Supporters Director asked about his cost analysis. Supporters Director says its not his job to do the cost analysis. Airman Brown calls him an awkward sod, bleats about how many hours everyone works.

T Mobile approached. T Mobile laughs, tells them to f off, puts phone down.

Person with lost phone calls Supporters Director again. Says in this day and age the free phone should be an IPhone so it can see up-to-the minute information from the club / find out on Twitter what the Comms Teams have had for lunch or what biscuits Gary Haines' wifes dogs mother has baked for the office.

Supporters Director reluctantly agrees to present to the board.

And so on and so on until eventually a new pay phone gets installed in a street in Bromley.

  • Abit late in the day but can anyone help with 2 tickets today? Phoned the ticket office and even though me and my brother have been to about 10 games this season they werent purchased on his red card so nothing they can do. We was season ticket holders for 7 years and told them that on the phone and still they wouldnt help.. I understand why the club has done it because of away fans but its abit silly when they surely have all our details on their system. Any suggestions or help appreciated. Up the addicks.
  • I reckon you will find someone with a purchase history around the ticket office area who will help you.
  • I did think that but dont fancy the hours drive to find we still can't get tickets. Looks like we may just have to stay at home and watch a stream of the game at this rate.
  • [cite]Posted By: Leaburns Daddy[/cite]A bit late in the day .

    I agree

    I agree[/quote]

Thought it was worth ago to ask as you never know and only realised last night about tickets on the day. Can't quite get my head round having previous ticket history and season tickets sent to this address yet still can't buy tickets...
  • Surely with previous purcahse history, it means away too
  • Yeah went to Colchester away and still have the ticket stub and parking ticket. Made no difference to the ticket office. The only suggestion they had was to turn up with 4-5 stubs but can only find that one away game.
