He's useless
He can't motivate players
He's a disgrace
He needs to go
He's the worst manager we've ever had
OK, so these are not my opinions. They are a summary of some of the invective and bile that's been spouted at Parky over the last year. By people who have formed their opinion by watching the team at the weekends and by poring over match reports, quotes, rumours and stories that are eitehr true, partially made up or entirely fictitious. And they are, of course, perfectly entitled to their opinions. However...
No-one here *really* knows what Parky's like in action. No-one gets to see him take a training session. No-one listens in to his pre-match talks, hears his tactical plans or understands fully how he prepares his side. And no-one outside the playing and management squads gets the chance to do so. Until now...
As part of a campaign to raise funds for a
five year-old cancer sufferer Parky's training session and pre-match training talk will be opened up to a couple of people, winning an eBay bid.
Whatever your thoughts on Parky, why not go on to the
Charlton eBay site, place a bid (hugher than mine - yes. I have already bid) and go and see Parky - and the team - in action? Your views on Parky may not change after having watched him in action. But your opinions will earn you a lot more respect.

Glad to see the club doing their bit.
wish him all the best.
Don't know if some people might not bother reading it as it is currently titled, which would be a real shame given what it is actually about.
agree, when I first saw this yesterday I just thought 'oh here we go again...' only clicked it today to see why on earth it got a Sticky. BTW it's obvious why now but definitely needs a new title.
Hugely worth it, have put a bid it. If no-one else bids then i'm going. Might sink the topic. ;-)
Make some noise next game!!
ps - will Parky still be in a job when the bidding ends ??
