Football League names Npower as new sponsor
Energy firm Npower has signed a three-year deal worth £21m to become the new sponsor of the Football League.
The utility provider will replace Coca-Cola, whose contract expires at the end of this season.
The League's three divisions will be known as the Npower Championship, Npower League 1 and Npower League 2.
The firm said it would put an emphasis on community involvement in football - as well as using the sponsorship to promote its services.
Outgoing Football League chairman Lord Mawhinney said that Npower was "a widely respected company with a strong pedigree in sports sponsorship".
"Their support is a huge boost to our clubs and represents the enhanced reputation of the Football League in the commercial marketplace."
Reports say that the Football League rejected a more lucrative sponsorship offer with a gambling firm because it did not believe it was a suitable association.

£3m more than Coca-Cola's £18m deal, so a good thing for us I guess?

£82.25m for 3 years.
Pricks
Mawhinney probably thought he was signing up with EDF.
