[cite]Posted By: Groucho78MFC[/cite]Either way, you'll be cheering us on the week after. We've got Leeds away.
Never. A draw with both sides ending with 9 men would do me.
If you beat us and then won at Leeds you'd be looking good for 2nd yourselves, and we can't have that.
[cite]Posted By: Swisdom[/cite]I'd gladly settle for a 1-1 draw
But I really think we can nick it. The weather is improving and the pitch might be half decent so we can get back to our 4-5-1 passing game
Our pitch is a f**king sandy mess at the moment, so forget any sort of slick passing from either team.
How do we know that's not propaganda to make us start the wrong XI and adopt the wrong game plan? ;o)
There's been no rain now for ten days and with a strong drying wind it has made a dramatic improvement to the conditions on my land, if not at Millwall. I even mowed my lawns on Sunday, and as I did so, I was thinking that better playing surfaces in the run-in should allow us to get back to our winning early-season passing style.
Kent CCC's first pre-season friendly v Notts starts in three weeks time, so if it's good enough for cricket, it certainly should be good enough for us to start playing some proper football again!
You could argue it the other way , i still think it is up for grabs. Once more I'm left rueing lost opportunities. Millwall have momentum now , but as we have seen in this league before things can change. It was only three weeks ago they lost to Wycombe and went two down at Wallsall. Also if they fail to get the auto spot it may be them that have a play off hangover. The next nine games are vital for us to get there. Once there we can worry about other things. This Saturday,Southampton and MK are vital. These three teams need to beat us , we need to stay points above them. Its in our own hands
Maybe it's the blind optimist in me, but we have been playing poorly for so long and yet we have somehow managed to close the gap to Leeds to 4 points.
We've had 2 bad derby games no doubt but Huddersfield away, they have to beat us but I'm feeling positive we can get a decent result there on Saturday.
A win could potentially see us a point behind Leeds!
I'd be happy with a point at Huddersfield to at the very least cement our play-off place. A defeat and we are in seriously jeopardy of missing out even on them. A win and we may close the gap on Leeds which, despite what the table says, is in reality 5 points with their far superior GD. No way will MKD or the Saints get anywhere near the play-off's.
totally agree with NSS we are a shocking team and we will do well to stay in the play offs and if we do make it to them i dont think our side has enough bottle to cope, millwall where superb and that hurts so much to say that cos i hate the w
s but credit where it is due they battle and work for each other unlike our shower who at the moment seem to be more interested booking there poxy holidays.
[cite]Posted By: drawnablank[/cite]Maybe you should worry about your holidays to?
Seeing as our season is rather pointless to you....
if you read what i said it points out our season seems piontless to our players not me ive booked my holidays anyway thanks so i guess you have
drawnablank there.
Think we will stumble into the playoffs and once there !!!!!!!!!!!!! It starts from scratch. Every playoff team will have nerves. Can we win it ? Definitely yes but just like the other teams its just a 25% chance.
