well if you'd have offered me at the start of the season that we'd be in the play off zone and only lost 5 games, you'd have got your hand bitten off.still a lot of football to be played and hopefully against southend we'll have the opportunity to kick start our season very quickly.....
Thats basically a "we're still 4th" post so boo away PL.And another "kick start the season" matrch ahead apparently so that's a double boo for me :-).
Most weeks it's basically the sames posts/arguements now. The one side who can see that we haven't been playing well and think we're lucky to be where we are, and the other side that are only concerned with our current position and no other factors. I suppose both sides are right in there ways just how you choose to look at it. The here and now only or the here and now, past and future.
Think a lot of the consternation is due to the fact that when we're good we're good, but when we're bad we're absolutely shocking. There's a point where the blips become the norm, and this season is beginning to feel like two years ago when it started falling to pieces in the new year, and nothing could stop the slide.

Such days have gotten fewer and fewer as the season has gone on that's for sure. I think the habit of starting every game on the back foot doesn't help - we seem to spend the first 15 minutes repelling attacks and then slowly wake up.
What a disappointing night - Saturday we played OK , rode our luck, but got the result due to Elliot's heroics! Tonight I stayed to the bitter end as I always do. I have NEVER booed our team or our players and cannot conceive of any circumstances in which I would! Most of the team will be as gutted as we were lets not forget that. I agree Parky's substitutions were baffling and we completely lost any shape with players all over the pitch out of posiiton but not even understanding their role. Time to go back to BASICS parky!
If we have any chance of keeping in play offs or chasing automatic we HAVE to get behind our team even wheny their play is poor as it was last night. Reid had a stinker. Sam was hopeless. Bailey too deep. Most of our players gave balls away too easily. Mooney was poor. Sodje no improvement on Burton. Jackson slipped back from where he was on Saturdays debut. Dailly and Llera did well for my money. Dailly regularly showed our mid field and attacking wingers what needed to be done when he ran at their players and took them on. He did that loads of time last night - that was leadership by example in my book. PLease dont bring Sam Sodje on again unless there is absolutely no alternative available.
Off to Southend on Friday night but these three games in one week that I was looking forward to somehow feel like that trip to the dentist!
I'm no good at doing graphs but can some boffin do a graph showing points gained v possible points and then forecsat the trend we are in to see how we may end up it was only a few months ago we where saying we are 2nd Leeds will slip up then no probs we are third with big gap behind now we are fourth but we are going through our rough patch come on smell the coffee we may not be as good as we thought well we may be but we just struggle to change our game plan how would you play the game Friday all out attack attack attack attack attack attack or sit back and hope

Oh, right. How annoying ;-)
Give us the percentages on that one then
