Init just because he was grining i think your reading to much into it. While i understand we dont have room to make jokes after such a poor result he is still human and hes been one of my favorite players since joining us in 2005 so leave him alone :-)
I was right by the tunnel and was struck by how down trodden he looked. He certainly wasn't grinning when he walked past me. If anything I wish he would stand tall when things aren't going so well for him because as body language goes, he's got the worst ever. Good player though at this level and think he'll be ok in the run in.
lloyd sam has skill and i'd rather watch his skill than water carriers like semedo any day of the week ...lloydie can win a game and stoppers can save a game .... we need wins not draws and lloyd is as good as we'll get at this level easily
[cite]Posted By: charltonfan[/cite]oh i love a row in the morning, thought this would start it
LOL coffee and a row no better mixture to wake one up :-). still think yourself lucky we have sam at this level lets hope he dont read this and think we dont appricate his efforts this season and f**k of to Brizzle Rovers lol
Im not Sam's biggest fan but when he plays well he is a nightmare for defenders at this level. Couldnt give a shit if he grins or not when he's walking off, i judge him on the 90 minutes before that. Lately he's been crap tho.....but then who hasnt.
football is about opinions,i just think he has not played well for a few months now,not that any body has had that great game either ,if he thinks he is a good player than show the rest of the team, how good he is all of the time, and double his effort ,maybe others around will do the same
Yea i agree with what your saying no ones been playing well lately but players like Sam, Bailey, Elliott and a few others we are lucky to still have. I personally thought any sign of quality would disapear in the Jan transfer window so i think we were lucky there. All the ones i have mentioned above could be in better leagues well the champ not the prem obviously.

True, shame that when other people expressed an opinion different from yours the best you could come back with was "F*** me, the Lloyd Sam Fan Club, all two of them".
He was grinning because he was glad we lost and was rubbing our faces in it because it is well known that he doesn't like Charlton fans and wants our club to fail, Leeds is his real club, he's a spy put in place 3 seasons ago to infiltrate us FACT!! Though the games up now that were onto him!!
He was very close with a rovers player in the tunnel before kick off, looked like a pal of his so think they just shared a moment at full time as anyone would do if it were them.
I noticed his grinning but didn't think all that much of it, just thought someone said something amusing to him. Lloyd Sam does seem to know a hell of a lot of players that we're linked with/on trial/signed. His name is always popping up when players mention who they already knew at the club but yet you don't hear any bad rumours of him getting into trouble/mischief. He’s probably just one of those easy going fellas that gets on with everyone.
Bet he was just as ducked off at the performance (lack of) of the team and result as we all were.
Rate Sam as a player but think I expect a bit too much from him. He's the player that stands out for me as having the ability to change the game and most of our goal scoring opportunities are created by him. Unfortunately being doubled up on almost every game can’t help, half the time when he does get into the positions to put in a decent cross there is not a soul supporting him. When he does cross you’re crying out for someone to get on the end of it. I'd love someone to work with him on his shooting and decision making.
I'm dreading him walking out of the club at the end of the season cos we're going to be in a right pickle without him. If that makes me part of the Lloyd Sam fan club I’ll hold my hands up. I’ll appreciate him and be frustrated by him equally whilst he’s still here.

Yeah! ....... we might have scored an equaliser.......
Hes quality and could do well at a mid/top table champ club. Think yourself lucky we still have Lloydy.

Maybe he knows how to spell "know"?
Well in my opinion we'll go up as champions! Job done..... :-)
Just cos he's smiling on the outside doesnt mean he's happy on the inside!
