Ref did us no favours was the headlines. I think his following comments were very critical of the players. As critical as he should be in public any how. What is he meant to say, "THey were all effing shite, I wish I could replace them all".
I'm with Parky. If Blizzard had received a red card, it would have been a lot easier. Bailey's booking did not help as it meant he had to be careful - one mis-timed tackle and he would have been off. We were unlucky on the night. On another day, we could have been celebrating a good away win. It's the ups and downs of football. There is still a way to go yet.
was that part of Parky's game plan then ? Hope they have a player sent off early to make it easier for us ? Jeez. We were shite, no two ways about it. As for unlucky on the night ? What game were you watching cause it sure as hell wasn't Bristol Rovers v Charlton.

Good point, well made Cordoban. What is the point of trashing your players in public.....?
It always backfires on a manager in the end.
Everyone has this perception of Parky as Mr Nice Guy - and in public, he invariably is.
But some people seem to reckon he would only be doing his job if he goes mental, loses control of himself and dances up and down the touchline. I don't remenber Lennie Lawrence or Curbs doing that either, right?
Parky does sometimes lose it at games, sent off at Carlisle earlier this season - and was it Southampton last year, charged by the FA? So he can and sometimes does lose it.
It might also mean he instead goes ballistic in the dressing room or on the training ground.
Which is the place to do it, not make yourself a laughing stock at the match.

granted he did us fewer favours, but when sodje ran into their forward it was a definate penalty.
