Funny People, biggest movie disappointment ever

just sat down and watched 'Funny People', and paid Sky Box Office for the priviledge, I Have got to say I have NEVER been so disappointed in a movie in my life, not funny, crap plot, crap ending and to be honest it was such a slow starter I still don't think it even started. Ok had my moan, now I feel Better :/

    Why do folk keep losing things at the movies ?

    I was leaving the cinema last week and someone asked me if I'd seen Bridget Jones' Diary or Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

    I went back in and had a quick look around - no joy.

    Considering what a brilliant set of actors took part in this film, it was absolute utter garbage.

    As a massive Adam Sandler film, this made me very sad :-(

    Don't understand why it needed to be two and a half hours. But 'tis true, the folks in "Funny People" are not funny, just as the folks in "Smart People" are not smart.

    If it is any solace, we wasted our Thursday night by watching Children of Huang Shi. I don't remember a recent movie that made a bigger hash of what was a fascinating story.

    that's what I was getting at some of the best (recent) comedy actors the US has to offer and they make something that is completely pointless and un-funny.

    You should go watch it. They are making Titanic 2 at the moment.
