  • Elliot - 7 made a couple of good saves
Richardson - 6 passing was poor
Dailly - 7 after he threw his water bottle down at Kinsella the team began to pick up in the last 10 mins of the 1st half
S Sodje - 6 bit erratic at times but I suppose you accept that with him
Basey - 6 poor first touch as always.
Wagstaff - 2 Looked totally out of his depth once again, maybe should be brought on as sub at home matches, but shouldn’t start.
Bailey - 6 another inconsistent display by the captain, actually looked better once he switched to left hand side, great goal though.
Racon - 6 done ok, hopefully he is ok after the head injury
Reid - 5 was poor the first half, got into it a bit more the 2nd.
Shelvey -6 when the ball is at his feet you can see he is quality, it's a shame if things are not going his ways he loses concentration to easily, something he will learn the more he plays
A Sodje - 3 Has nothing about him on Saturday, poor in the air and poor first touch.
Semedo - 6 dwelt on the ball a bit but some very good tackles
Solly - 7 done very well when he came on, just a shame he is not left footed as I would play him in front of Basey any day of the week.
Burton - 8 Showed us all why he should be our number 1 striker, great link up play won everything in the air and was very composed to lay that ball off to Bailey
  • Elliot - 7 Looked assured.
    Richardson - 6.5 Kept going.
Dailly - 6.5 Better in the air than Sodje
S Sodje - 6 Kept going but this was a tough match for him.
Basey - 6 Too slow to feed Reid in the 1st 30 mins but just about did ok.
Wagstaff - 5 One shot on the run shouldn't disguise fact that he was a passenger. Tough afternoon but all part of the learning experience.
Bailey - 6.5 Not at his best on the ball but got better and took his goal brilliantly. Never gave up....that's why he's skipper.
Racon - 6.5 Half hour of chasing shadows and then he suddenly got into it. Looked classy for a while.
Reid - 6.5 Starved of a decent pass but once we found him he was good. Terrific signing.
Shelvey - 6 Kept going but like many others was nowhere near his best. Again...all part of the learning experience.
A Sodje - 6 Tried so hard in a difficult role but looks very rough around the edges. Did well for the goal.
Semedo - 7 Looked like a proper player. Tackled and passed well.
Solly - 7 Positionally looks good, gets up well for a small fella and good on the ball. VERY impressed.
Burton - 7.5 Tilted the balance of the match with ability to show for the ball. bring it down and get a few things going.

Parky 7 - Reacted well to the disruptions and was decisive at half time (Wagstaff withdrawal). Wouldn't blame him for resting Burton....the old boy can't play every minute and hadn't been looking at his best. He'll be back for Rovers though.

Crowd 8 - I sat with the Swindon fans. They got behind their team but were fair minded and they thought Reid looked good. I thought Charlton's support was quite healthy but the Swindon fans expected us to bring many more. The pork roll before the game was handsome!

  • Elliot - 7 Did everything required of him.
Richardson - 6 Better going forward but can't fault his effort.
Dailly - 7 Held the backline together when we were creaking under pressure in first 30 mins.
S Sodje - 7 Solid enough, and even when sometimes beaten in the air still got a challenge in to put off the opponent.
Basey - 6 If only this player had quicker feet but his touch is generally good
Wagstaff - 5 Game passed him by, despite a couple of good runs and shot. No service though.
Bailey - 7 Gets an extra point for that lungbursting 50 yard run to be in the right place at the right time to clinically score.
Racon - 6 Shame he got injured, just beginning to make an impression on the game.
Reid - 7 First 30 mins you didn't know he was playing, but gradually made an impact on the game, strong and fast.
Shelvey - 6 You can't fault 100%. Sometimes tries too hard and touch deserts him. But quality move with Reid, and shot.
A Sodje - 7 This player ran himself into the ground, but no support. But still running hard & vital involvement with our goal.

Semedo - 7 Made a difference when he came on. The defence weren't pushed back so deep.
Solly - 7 Pacy, full of energy and enthusiasm. Good show.
Burton - 8 When he came on, showed how much he had been missed.... Intelligence, vision, awareness and touch.

Burton played 25 mins of normal time plus 5 mins added time = 30 mins.
And he's my MoM - the quality he showed, the link up play, and of course the assist for the equaliser.

  • Elliot - 5 - Not forced into many saves, for all Swindon's early threat. Some terrible bits of distribution. Took a couple of crosses well but generally not his best performance.
Richardson - 5 - Hard working, but a bit wasteful in possession and crossing not up to early season standards.
    Dailly - 6.5 - Steady
S Sodje - 6 - Not as commanding as he usually is, still had a decent game though.
Basey - 7 - Thought he played quite well and was heavily involved in probably our 2 best moves of the match.
    Wagstaff - 5 - Annonymous.
Bailey - 6.5 - Got us out of jail again, but was below par for most of the game.
Racon - 7 - Was starting to show his class before being subbed for injury. Hope it's just a cut and not concusion, we could do with an in form Racon right now.
Reid - 6.5 - Quiet for long spells, but like Basey involved in the two good moves. Also started to threaten more as Swindon tired.
Shelvey - 5.5 - Great shot against the bar, but game passed him by for long spells. Unusually rushed and thoughtless in possession. Probably a bit of a marked man at the moment and maybe not quite sussed out how he's going to deal with that and still get into games.... yet.
A Sodje - 5.5 - Worked hard and was a bit isolated at times. Did well in build up to goal but so much didn't stick and he never really gave us a platform to build attacks on.
Semedo - 7 - Made a difference when he came, not sure why he didn't start in a tough away game where we were always likely to be attacked.
Solly - 7 - Took up where he left off at Walsall. Looks solid defensively and willing to overlap - only seen him twice but he looks a good prospect.
Burton - 7.5 - It wasn't a flawless appearance but the way Akpo struggled just went to highlight how good Deon is at what he does and without him we wouldn't have built the pressure which eventually led to the goal.

  • Gonna get the stats up to date today, so if you were at the game please stick up some ratings as there response to these threads seem to get fewer and fewer every game for some reason. Its only a bit of fun.

My Mum always told me, if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything - think that kind of attitude may have something to do with it!
