  • Having read that Angel Rangel 'missed out' on a move to Fulham , I assume Yassin may have been their back up plan.

Still , Jim Gannon has moved in at Posh .A double header with Izale ?
  • "There was interest from Swansea but it didn't materialise in the end," added Parkinson. "We put several calls into Swansea but the call didn't come back so Yassin is still with us."

I like the way we are openly pimping out Pardew's mistakes! Parky should hire a people carrier and drive them all to their destinations!
  • Put him in the team so he is in the shop window.

He would be trying to prove that PP is wrong to ignore him and we could decide for ourselves.
  • Just looked on Wikipedia and on the players on loan it says he is on loan to Nice until the end of the season.

How is that fair on Solly or Richardson? Someone who makes mistakes and isn't a team player gets picked ahead of them so "we can decide" and so Yassin can go "in the shop window".

Wasn't the loan at Motherwell a shop window and didn't their fans think he was lazy and a poor defender?

Would be nice (see what I did there) but hasn't the transfer window closed in France as well

I can change that if you want? Can make it say he's gone on loan to Liverpool.

On trial there. Would be an absolute joke if him and/or Mclown end up in a higher league than us!
  • I think he was a decent player to be honest. I'd be surprised if he doesn't get another club. McLeod? Not so much!

  • I'll wish Yassin the best of luck that it works out for him.
Perhaps more suited to the French/Spanish style of game.

He's relatively young, and I still think there is a player inside him.
Deficiencies in his game, sure ....but as players mature, they get savvy enough to play to their strengths.
  • thought he was an excellent player...........maybe not as solid as Richardson at defending but a damn site better going forward than Sam !!

I think it was his off field problems that made us release him.
  • He could neither cross or defend but I did like his bombing runs past everyone!

True it was off the field problems, but he wasn't an excellent player. His time at Motherwell showed that, they had doubts about his defending and crossing.

He is quick and probably very fit as well, but his defending was unreliable and he looked better than he was when attacking because he had pace and loved getting forward.
  • Has some qualities but too many weaknesses and personal issues to ever have been a success at CAFC. Maybe elsewhere with decent man management and defensive coaching then there could be a decent player but even if he does end up at a higher level, could not care less.

Ha ha, great quote Dazzler and spot on with it!
  • I think MTK would be a pretty good right half. He would need to work on his crossing. He is a good player. Shame it never worked out at Charlton.
  • I used to think he was a good player. But if you can't look good in the SPL...
  • As an initially hopeful admirer of Yassin, it appears that untimately he was more interested in maintaining his high wages than in playing football, which badly damaged Charlton and has done him no favours. Not a footballing mentality in my book. He deserves what he hasn't got.
  • Now on trial with Oldham

    What has he done now?
  • What a waste. Better coaching from us and a better attitude from him (mainly the latter) and we could have had a real player on our hands.
  • He isn't good enough for Oldham
  • surprised he has npt found anythign in europe, would have thought his style was better suited for there even at their thrid tier level, if they have one.
  • We really didn't see the best of him sadly - had potential to be a very good player. Physical attributes were good.

Sadly his terrible attitude always hindered him.

If he sorts his 'tude he could be a very good player - but I fear he won't
  • I know Oldham lost 6-0 at home last night, but Mou2 is not the answer to any team's defensive problems
  • An "in the zone" Moutu and an injury free Youga and we would have had the best full back pairing in the Division. Sadly, last we've seen of both of them I suspect.
  • Better coaching from us? I don't think a failure in our coaching was anything to do with him being a 'disgrace' as Kinsella put it!
  • charged with bombing runs where the end product was a missed target
  • Just looked on Wikipedia and on the players on loan it says he is on loan to Nice until the end of the season.. quote

More like 'Nice work' if you can get it Henry!......

'work' of course in the loosest possible sense!, god it must be tough for the lad!
