League 1 Play-Off Semi-Final/Final Dates

So.. if we do end up in the play-offs, anyone got any idea when the semi-finals are?

Or are they announced later when they know the teams?


Football league gives these dates:

22nd May Coca-Cola Championship Play-Off Final (Wembley Stadium)
29th May Coca-Cola League 1 Play-Off Final (Wembley Stadium)
30th May Coca-Cola League 2 Play-Off Final (Wembley Stadium)

    if we all book to go on holiday on the day of the final we guarantee we will get to the final, right?

    Sky tend to dictate the semi final dates and times as I believe they show every game live and therefore have 1 each day for about a week and a half

    They'll be knackered by the time they get to wembley, good job it's only the one game after!

    Right. I live in Italy, so I'm trying to work out which games to come back for. Got Millwall Away and Leeds Home, and thinking about the play-offs.

    Day of organisation today, so made a excel/pdf file of charlton fixtures and world cup til july 2010. pretty useful but no idea how to upload it on here

    If looking at semi final fixtures over the last few years suggests anything the 1st leg of any semi-final will commence on the Friday 14th or Saturday 15th May, followed by a second leg on the Tuesday 18th or Weds 19th,(last year the second leg was on the Thursday and Friday of the following week though) with the final confirmed above on the 29th. They normally give a 9-10 day gap between the semi finals and final.

    Well that's what I'm hoping for anyway, if we don't get automatic. I've got my mate's stag booked from the 21st-23rd and ain't gonna be a happy bunny if I miss a play off match.

    That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the date. Maybe we should get Shirtliff back as manager quickly.

    haha, Charlton of course! His wedding is on the same day for what could be England's WC quarter final, gutted!

    I'm best man for my mates wedding and he basically has to have his stag do over one of the May bank holiday weekends. Just looked and May bank holiday weekend one is the Leeds home game, May bank holiday weekend 2 is the Play-Off final !

    No idea what to do. It's kind of up to me so I can schedule it in my favour. The stag do will probably be in the UK, I reckon Cardiff is a good shout and that way I could go up on the friday, come back to London for either the Leeds game or the Playoff final on the Saturday morning and then back to Cardiff the same night to carry on the stag do.

    Ideas ?

    I'd go for the 2nd weekend, you wouldn't want to see Millwall at Wembley would you?
