  • Haven't read it in soo long, one of reasons i joined here as my views were never put on there! im guessing due to my poor puctuation ey henners? ;-)

    CL till i die....
  • So we are being accused of being too harsh on those that are too harsh on the board, team and management
  • So how's about the decent spellers getting on the OS and expressing their views rather than just moan about the moaners? The OS certainly needs some countering views at the mo.

May be worth another try. A family member just tried to join and had an immediate e-mail response with password, so it appears to be working very well now.

i attended wembley yesterday for the auditions of big brother, dont know why spur of the moment thing,i havent been to wembley since we played sunderland my god has it changed ,i was thourgly impressed. The big brother auditions i qued up for 6 hours had to do a stupid warm up all they where picking was x gameshow contestants from deal or no deal and family fortunes etc etc,it was a good day out unfortunetly didnt get on but had a good time !!!!i decided to take a tour of wembley afterwoods and i didnt realise the second tier of seating is for season ticket holders only i thourghly recommend any footy fan who hasnt been to wembley go its massive and will take up to 2 hours walking around on a tour
  • I would defo consider watching Big Brother if he was in the house.
  • My big problem with that part of the site isn't the content (this site isn't a million miles away from it some days) but that with the club cutting back, a member of comms staff is used to moderate it, and secondly the amount of server space could be better used.

was going to go for that, but had football! previously auditioned though and not the easiest audition as had to do things in groups
  • You had to do things in groups! for a TV show were you live together in a big house with a group of other people.

Got to hand it to those TV people, they are clever.

What next Secretaries doing typing tests, footballers playing trial matches? : - )

Not that I'm casting aspersions on Jonathon Acworth, but I thought that Big Brother was no more and this was the last year?

This is the last year - then it is no more.
  • Just read it first time since i discovered CL :o)

God its depressing and all the people who post on it do not have a clue, one of most recent was Waggy out after swindon......seriously clueless Feckers! glad they dont post on here!

I also noticed the infamous Jonathan Ackworth was on there, another clueless knob
  • Was having a look on the OS your views just to see what was on there.

Saw this, a nice change from the usual "Parky out, we should be top of the league with our players". Parky is far from being a great manager, you might not agree with all the points there, but the general idea about expectations and patience I have to agree with.

As you say surprisingly sensible for that site!
  • I know he is still young and has come through our own acadamy, but he hasnt played since we lost to Leyton Orient and he had the worst game of his short career against Carlisle United. He is really lacking confidence and is not living up to his start of season expectations. I feel maybe a stint on loan at a conference side could be what he needs. He'll be able to see where he is playing in a few years time if he doesnt up his game. This could give him the much needed experience and confidence of playing regularly and make him as a player. But I can't help thinking maybe we should have sold him admist the hype, Lord knows our finances could have done with it.

    WHAT THE HELL?

I am really beginning to detest some of our supposed supporters. I'm a firm believer in everyone being entitled to their opinion - except the doughnut who wrote that. Unbelievable.

It was the venue used by Charlton officials during the 1920s - and 90 years on, members of the official website's Your Views messageboard met up after the recent home game with Norwich City.

Putting faces to names in The Bugle Horn were the likes of former Valley Review cartoonist David Ramzan, Colin Steel, Andy Roth, Mark Barber and Alison and Philip Scrivener, who chewed the fat after the unlucky defeat to the Canaries in SE7.

    Anyone recognise them?
  • Who's the 7th one?
  • Where to start on that photo......
  • David R is the one with the beard 2nd from the right
  • Bet that was a barrel of laughs after reading Your Views.
