Not the most interesting of documents but shows how desperate they were!
  • What's the best Nigel site for a gloat? Or which ones to be more precise. I was barred from Homo online a few years ago, but my blackberry should see me through that little problem.
  • Do not wish this on any team, you never know who will be next. This could well become DOMINO DAY.

Not singling you out in particular LC, but I just don't get that sentiment.

What next, not celebrating a goal as the oppo fans will only rub our faces in it if they equalise?

F*ck em. I'll enjoy the moment while I can. True, it could be us next, but tomorrow's another day and I'll cross that bridge if we come to it. Whatever I do or say will have no impact on matters, nor will it stop their fans gloating if it ever happens to us, so b*llocks!

[cite]Posted By: guinnessaddick[/cite]Just said on BBC London news that palace were ordered not to play Moses tonight.

The Administrator said that selling him is so key to Palace having enough cash to survive whilst he looks for a buyer, that he couldn't have slept if Moses had picked up an injury.

Sorry but I just had to share this... I am currently revising for a Company and Insolvency Law exam for tomorrow... just come across a seminal case on Director negligence... the Director? One Mark Goldberg. The company? One CPFC. The original and best administration period!

    hahahahaha

    "Sellhurst Park"? How wonderfully ironic!

Swear some of our fans hate / are obsessed by Palarse more than they support Charlton.
  • I thought you had to play your strongest team possible?
Sure I read on here somewhere that it is an official rule, think it was after the wolves game, and if that is so, surely it must be another points deduction?

I have taken so much grief over the last 3 years from nigels that I can't do anything but smile when thinking about this!

I so wish we could play them again next season, but wouldn't really mind waving to them as we swapped divisions!
  • i wonder how much sympathy we will receive from palace fans IF we got into administration .....errrrm errrrrrrrrrrrr sweet fa, they'll be laughing their bollox off, so fark them i say ...although would much prefer it happened to the scum

I must admit its a bit like the chicken and the egg situation, if you had asked me before I'd read some of the bile on here, I would certainly have said I wouldn't wish administration on anyone, but after some of the comments on here, I must admit its made me think twice.

However amongst some of the bile, there have been more reasonable opinions, so I would like to thank them for that, and if the worst does happen, and Charlton do miss promotion, and you do get caught up in administration, then I for one certainly won't be gloating, and my thoughts will be for the kinder more thoughtful fans on here.
  • understand where you're coming from budgie .... but just as with the delight we showed at sending you down and the delight the palace fans had when we entered this shite league the majority will enjoy the suffering of the other club and that's what local banter and rivalry is about(although obviously no one wants anyone to lose any money/jobs etc) ...... except with the scum that is pure hatred on my part ...
  • Come on budgie, you know a lot of your lot were doing the same when it was in correctly stated we were going into admin, so don't come on here giving it the holier than thou bollox. Get back to checking the sofa for loose change to get your club out of admin.

One point of concern is what happens with those who bought long term ST's will they be honoured in future? Bit rough on the individuals if not.

  • The FL have now deduced the 10 points

Crystal Palace have been deducted 10 points by the Football League after going into administration on Tuesday.

The move means Palace drop from ninth in the Championship to 21st - only three points off the relegation zone.

"Following confirmation that Crystal Palace has gone into administration, we confirm a sanction of 10 points with immediate effect," the League stated.

Administrators were appointed earlier this week after the Eagles twice paid players late this season

    Happy days !
  • And with pay day around the corner I'm guessing they won't be getting it on time this month either
  • How come Palace could only field 3 subs last night. I know they were told Moses couldn't play but i'd assume that as they set off to the north east BEFORE going into admin they went a squad of 20 (11 players, 7 subs and 2 spare in case of late withdrawals) as teams usually do.
So Palace then named 11 players and only 3 subs. Where did the rest of the squad go to?

    On a run with Dowie;-)
  • They haven't been naming seven subs for a while. At least not in the cup

It should be more than 10.

Budgie, don't give it the moral high ground again.

Perhaps they didn't take a full squad, Chris. Train fares aren't cheap :-)

They can't be that hard up, they flew up there! Get the coach you paupers!!
  • They flew up there:
Think the reason the subs are kept down is o save "appearence money".
  • [cite]Posted By: Friend Or Defoe[/cite]It should be more than 10.

No moral high ground mate, just the way I see it.

There's many Charlton supporters on here that see it the same, but as Oohaah and Steve have also said, there are many Palace fans that would or will be celebrating if you end up the same.

My personal point of view is that fans of clubs such as Palace and Charlton, are similar in many ways and should stick together, but I suppose in recent years there may have been too much history between the clubs, and some fans won't be able to see past that.
